Quiet 2 Bedroom House

Thanks for viewing our home. We have been renting this house on VRBO since 2020. Our property has been a 5-Star and Premier Host rating since the start. We had a change in managing hosts because of work taken upon in remote rural Alaska where cell phone service and the internet are limited. We wanted to provide the best option available for guests to be able to have direct contact and access to assistance when needed. We are working with VRBO to get our reviews transferred back over for the time being we have uploaded a few in our photos.

This is a great house located nested in the woods in one of Seward's quaint neighborhoods. Nice large lot for extra parking. House is located on Stoney Creek Avenue right when you come into town. The house is extremely cozy and the kitchen supplies are plentiful.

This house is located right outside Seward which we found very relaxing and convenient. Kitchen and bathroom were updated and fully stocked. Beds were very comfortable, temperature and dark shades made for some of the best sleep. Options for inside eating were small side table or TV trays. Best option is beautiful outside spot with picnic table and fire pit. Host was excellent. Made things really easy and communicated promptly.

Val was such a great responsive host. She also was very flexible with our arrival and departure. The small house is very quiet and worked great for our party of 4. Just a short drive to downtown Seward. Wouid stay there again for sure!

Enjoyed our stay in Seward! The place has everything we needed and lots of extras. Host was very responsive and helpful. We enjoyed the outdoor fire, saw a moose in the backyard, and enjoyed petting Johnny. Thank you for being a great host!

Great stay near Seward

We had a wonderful stay here. The house is very clean and the kitchen is well-supplied. We loved the location. It’s a great location that feels secluded but is an easy drive in and out of Seward.

Seward House

Overall this was a good spot. Close to town but far enough away to feel like you’re still in the wilderness. Quiet neighborhood with bikes for riding and a nice area to take a walk. The only thing I’d say is that the house sleeps five but you can’t really do much in the house with five people. The table only seats 3 so you can’t really cook and have a family dinner. If you’re not planning on doing much in the house and eating out it’s a good spot.

Steward stay

Perfect for our family to stay for a couple of nights in Seward while traveling throughout the state. Very clean, comfortable, stocked with all the basics our family needed. Located in a peaceful, quiet neighborhood that the boys loved exploring only 10 minutes from the harbor and downtown. Thank you!

Everything you could need

We were so impressed at how stocked the cabin was. It was wonderful to just have those odds and ends available so you don’t have to by spices and random supplies on vacation. Val was very helpful and responsive. We would definitely come back if we get another opportunity!!

Just what we wanted

This property was in a location we wanted to be at. We didn’t hang out in the house too much as we were there to see family and be on the hiking trails. It was just what we needed between visits and outdoor activities. Perfect location for us.

Close but you feel like you alone

I just tell you are close to Seward. Place feels like you are all by your self. I walk every day for a couple of mile on a nice gravel road. Easy drive to site see exit glassier. We went to Kenai nice easy drive over and came back. lot to do and see. We got rained out for fishing so we made the best of it. The property owner was great to work with no hassle and help where need. First time at vbo it was nice and easy.

Wooded Paradise

Everything in the property was great! The location was very quiet, and it was enjoyable to be in a quiet location. The hustle and bustle of Seward in the summer can be a bit much in the evening at times. We would definitely stay again if we were in the area. Val was extremely helpful and communicative. The only thing that would make the stay even better would be a way to heat up water without using the microwave.
