Could not have been a better trip, the peace and serenity of Rachel and Nicky’s home was amazing. My wife, daughter, two pups and I enjoyed every single second from arrival to departure. Communication was great as well. The sound of the stream across the roadway at night provided such a sense of calm, and we were lucky enough to get snow 2 of the 5 days. We kept warm by the fire most days and also ventured to Walton, Downsville, Roscoe for stores and diners and Bethel lake for the light show. We honestly cannot say enough about this house we will be looking for one of our own soon we loved it up there so much. A one of a kind mountain paradise.

Absolutely wonderful stay! Loved this cabin and will definitely be returning next time we are in the area. Very clean and loved the decor. Great communication! Enjoyed star watching at night and watching turkeys walk through the woods. Very cozy with fireplace!

Weekend in the woods

Had a calm and peaceful weekend in the woods! The cabin was clean and well put together. Host was prompt and easy to get ahold of both before and during our stay. Would definitely stay again!

Amazing Stay – Cozy, Well-Designed, and Thoughtfully Equipped!

We had a fantastic stay at this cabin! It was spotless upon arrival, and despite visiting in February with temperatures as low as 10–12F, the cabin stayed warm and comfortable throughout our stay.The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed for cooking, and the open-concept layout made our time there even more enjoyable. The location was convenient, with two nearby towns for groceries and other essentials.Rachel was an excellent host—she responded quickly and provided helpful recommendations. Check-in was seamless, making our arrival stress-free.Whoever designed this cabin put so much thought into every detail! From the decor to the rugs and artwork, everything contributed to a beautiful, cozy atmosphere that truly felt like a retreat.Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a well-designed, comfortable, and well-located cabin getaway!

The only reason I gave it 9 out of 10 is that the furniture is a little outdated (not very comfortable) and all bed rooms have full size mattresses. We prefer twin beds since we were friends. It is listed as capacity for 7 but it is truly only 6; putting 2 on each of the 3 full size mattresses.

The cabin was lovely! Super clean and stocked with all the necessities. Communication with Rachel was A+ and I received super prompt responses to any questions we had. We definitely plan on booking again next year!

Beautifully appointed cabin!

We stayed a weekend in the cabin and couldn’t be happier. Tranquil weekend catching up with family. We were able to have a fire in the double sided fireplace and it really was a comfort since it was cold and snowy outside. The decor is on point and the beds were very comfortable. The host was very quick to respond to our needs. Would love to go back in the summer to explore the area and try kayaking. Wonderful cabin. Highly recommend.

Cozy mountain getaway!

The most amazing and cozy cabin! Spent Christmas here with the family. The kids had a blast indoors and outdoors. My favorite part is the sound of the stream across the property and the jacuzzi. My son is already asking me to book for Christmas! The host was quick to respond to all of my messages and very helpful.

Great Private Getaway

Secluded from neighbors, very clean and cozy cabin. We had a great stay, loved the big deck and front porch. Owner was very responsive, and we always appreciate when we can bring our pups! Beds were comfortable, and open floor plan was great for our family!

The property was exactly as pictured and very well appointed. Our group of 3 couples was very comfortable during our stay. The host was prompt in her responses to my questions and seemed to genuinely hope I had a good time in her property. I would definitely recommend this home if you're looking for a quiet getaway!

A Great Find on VRBO

We had a great time at the cabin. Check in was super easy and the host, Rachel, was pleasantly responsive to all my communications. The cabin has a nice floor plan for a family. We enjoyed our evening cookouts on the spacious back deck. The location is super private and the beds comfortable.

Catskill Get Away

This in an adorable cabin that is nicely equipped and very clean. Rachel is super nice and very responsive to my questions. The front and back decks are fabulous for enjoying the fresh air. The decor is perfect for the surroundings. We didn't get to use the fire pit but it looks like it will be a lot fun. The popcorn machine is nice touch!!

Loved our stay!

We loved our stay at the cabin! Super easy check-in and really easy communication with the host! Location was convenient for a quick ride into Roscoe, which is where we spent most of our time because we had babies with us and keeping on the move was important :) Some highlights for us were hanging on the front lawn playing Cornhole, enjoying a round of golf at the local golf course and a great meal at the Downsville diner. Thanks Rachel for the recommendation and for a great weekend away!
