Secret Retreat w/private saltwater pool - close to Cisco Brewery & Town

Feel like you're truly getting away from it all and escape to a cottage retreat with a private saltwater pool! Tucked away on a dead-end sandy road, our sweet house is situated on a green one-acre parcel that feels like a secluded park.

The property grounds are the real secret; guests are usually surprised when they arrive to see how much space there is to explore. Marsh Hawk Cottage features plenty of outdoor "rooms" and nooks for you to enjoy the beauty of being outside!

* Practice yoga or sunbathe on the upstairs balcony
* Enjoy cocktails or a good book at the bluestone patio
* Play catch, frisbee, or corn hole in the yard
* Curl up in the hammock for a nap after a dip in the pool
* Sit in the Adirondack chairs and see what wildlife wanders by
* Snooze and socialize in the chaise longue by the pool

Meanwhile, everything you need is nearby. You'll find comfort knowing that you're in a location with convenient access to:

* Miacomet golf course
* BEACHES!! Cisco, Miacomet, and Surfside are all just a bike ride away
* Town (just over a mile away)

If you decide to cook at the house, you will have an outdoor gas grill and a small but well-stocked indoor kitchen (All-Clad stainless steel cookware, Breville Barista espresso maker, gadgets) at your disposal.

The kitchen, dining room and living room flow together in an open plan on the first floor, making socializing a breeze.

There are two bedrooms (one with a queen-sized bed, one with two twins plus a pullout twin sofa bed) on the main floor, and one bedroom upstairs (full-sized bed). There is an additional full-sized pullout sofa bed in the upstairs sitting area.

A/C: The house does not have central air conditioning. There is a window unit in the Queen bedroom downstairs, and a mini-split in the upstairs Full bedroom. There is also a mini-split in the living room.

We supply luxury cotton bed linens and towels and soap. Please bring your own shampoo.

Premium channel cable and wifi included at no additional charge. There is a small tv in the living room, and small televisions in the upstairs bedroom and downstairs queen bedroom.

Off-street parking for one car.

PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING:

Minimum age to rent: 25 years old

No pets.

No parties/events, including bachelor/bachelorette outings.

No Smoking of any kind - including vaping - is allowed.

Due to local regulations, a maximum of 8 guests can stay at the house.

Guests will be responsible for ensuring the safety of children staying on the property at all times. Please note that, while children are welcome at the house, it is not childproofed. Children must be attended/supervised at all times in the pool area by someone older than 12 years of age. The pool is fully enclosed and has a gate.

The home is fully cleaned and sanitized prior to tenants' arrival. There is no maid service during guests' stay. Guests requiring additional cleaning services may contact owner to discuss frequency and availability at extra cost. Cleaning costs are pass-through. Please note that, due to the high cost of labor on the island, these may seem much higher than you are accustomed to paying elsewhere.

We offer stays with a minimum of 6 nights. No Sunday check-ins. Friday or Saturday check ins preferred. Shorter stays may be possible during the shoulder season and may be incur an extra charge to cover off-cycle cleaning and preparation for your stay. Please inquire with the host prior to booking.

The cottage is not available for rent from Fall through the end of April.

Guests are responsible for any damages. We encourage you to purchase damage insurance.
