The house was in a great location with outstanding views of the ocean. The hosts were excellent and attentive with timely responses to our questions.The home was spacious and comfortable for our group of 7 adults.

Beautiful views and beach access. Accommodated our family of 7 perfectly. Kitchen had everything we needed. Communication was easy and we had no problems. Hope to return soon.

This property fits our family perfectly. Our family has ages from elderly all the way to a toddler. It is also great for our dog. The place is clean and kept up for beach living. We literally feel like it is OUR vacation home. The kitchen is perfect for those like us who prefer to cook every meal. The views are amazing. The private beach is spectacular. The hosts go above and beyond when we need help or have a question. We can't say enough about this property.

The host was very nice and let us in early. However, I was disappointed with the house, which was a bit outdated and had a musty odor throughout. Definitely too overpriced. I visit Ocenside quite often and have rented more modern homes with the same views nearby for the same price. Overall, I would not stay there again. : (

This place was our favorite so far! We have been going to Oceanside/Carlsbad for years using VRBO. We like to try places that fit our needs at the time. This year we had our 1 year old grandson and my Mom who is elderly (and a few ages between). PERFECT for all! I insist on cooking our meals and the kitchen was more than adequate. I also LOVED the access to the beach and the sandy area. The deck was perfect for those of us who could not get to the beach. The shower that had access to outside was great for the kids. We brought our golden doodle and she loved it too! Such an amazing week in a beautiful property. We will be back soon!

We stayed for 9 wonderful days. The house is spotless and had a few things to get started. We had fantastic communication with Haustay making sure we had everything we needed. We could see the ocean from the living/dining room. And of course the upstairs bedroom. We were able to fit our VW Golf in the garage. It is convenient to everything we needed like food and quick pickup items. And having our dog with us was great to be able to walk everywhere. We went walking on the beach after the tide went out. Even in November the water was a perfect temperature. The house was bigger than we needed, but we were really comfortable there and being able to go one house down to the beach access was super cool. I can see us coming again with family next time.

Relaxing Ocean View

We had a great time here. I wanted a house on the beach for my family to get together. I wanted it to have a sand space so my kids could play in the sand in a contained space while we relaxed and it delivered on those things. We only stayed 2 nights and that was good for us because we didn't have other things planned in the area. There is a good sushi restaurant and coffee shops with in a 1 min to 3 min. drive away. There is also a walkable cafe. I imagine if you planned the trip right when the tide is going out during the day, you could walk along the beach a bit. We couldn't do that because the tide didn't go out until it was dark (November). Oh, There is no a/c. I assumed as much as it wasn't mentioned in the write up, and that was perfectly fine most of the day. During the hottest part of the day it did get stuffy in the house, but that really didn't last very long. it just happened to be the part of the day when you head in side because you need a little respite from the sun. It cooled down comfortably at night but we did have to wait for a bit for it to cool down. If you like fans it's not a big deal probably. I just don't like sleeping with fans on me.
