Come unplug at the Main House of Hill Spring Homestead. Central location only 10 minutes from Camden, 8 minutes from Rockport and Rockland. Full private use of the hand crafted main house will be yours. First floor has full bath with shower, laundry, and farmer's sink, as well as office with queen pull out couch. Upstairs are three bedrooms (2 queen rooms and 1 king room) and a full bath with clawfoot tub. Organic fruit trees, vegetable gardens, trees, and flowers will greet you out every window. Take in the bird songs while you enjoy morning coffee or evening drinks on the wrap around deck. Build a bonfire and enjoy the stars at the large fire pit. Breathe easily knowing the home and organic linens are cleaned with plastic free all natural products, and electricity comes from the solar grid. Meditate, journal, paint, or read in the sun filled cupola. Mountains, ocean, lakes, rivers, shopping, galleries, restaurants, and exceptional locally produced food all within a 10-20 minute drive. Take a day trip to Acadia National Park, Portland, or countless beautiful seaside towns along the Mid Coast. Let us know if you'd like to use our double kayak or canoe during your stay. Our family (including sweet natured Golden mix, cat, and friendly hens) shares the property in adjacent guest house. We are happy to provide recommendations and suggestions so you can enjoy Mid Coast like a local, and will be available should you need us, but we are often away from home at work so you will have plenty of privacy.
