Welcome this family home in safe/secure area but still close to downtown with all dining options and activities. Blackout curtains, door code access, dishwasher & washer/dryer will make your stay comfortable. The ENTIRE home is yours. Fully stocked kitchen, living area, three bedrooms, two bathrooms, deck & laundry. The kitchen and living area with a bathroom and Master is on upper level of this split level. Family room and two bedrooms are on lower level. Did we mention Keuring Coffee-maker?

Clean rooms, I really appreciated that they had sensitive skin dove body wash (same stuff I use at home). You don’t see that often where they have body wash for sensitive skin, so I definitely appreciated that. Host was friendly. Kitchen was nice sized. Had everything we needed to cook. Overall very satisfied with the experience. Will definitely book again.

Nice neighborhood. House was a great size. It would have been nice to have bathroom rugs upstairs and a rug by front door entrance. It was rainy on Friday. We also could have used a couple more hand towels, kitchen towel & box of kleenex. The pillows were really flat & beds could use a bed topper to help with comfort. Otherwise, it was a good weekend. Check-in & check-out was very smooth. Thank you.

Kitchen was fully equipped for cooking and baking pan & pots & pans, Minus measuring cup, No wine glasses, kitchen towels etc.House and furnishings could really use some love. Sofa was peeling pretty badly. Nail holes and roughed up walls. Beds were obviously pretty new— very comfortable. Not a hanger in sight.Bathrooms were ok. Minimal linens. 1 sm towel per person (5 stayed).Outside home looked beautiful. Lawn & grounds hit high bars. Deck furniture was all askew & had no cushions so we stayed in. Vents need a good cleaning but temps were wonderful- ceiling fans in perfect location all over house. All in all, I’d stay again & again for the price point & location alone. It was comfortable- just needs a little love.

I was disappointed in the rental.we had not have any kitchen towels, or dish rags. We had to tighten up the bathroom stool lids .one of us set on it and we almost fell off. The dishwasher was broken. We still did dishes. Water rings all over the table. Out front there were farm thistle all in the flower bed.

Bathroom Sink

The upstairs bathroom sink was stuck plugged and wouldn't drain. The host seemed aware of the issue and did not resolve it during my stay.

Good value

Price point was good because there were minor issues (lack of some pillow cases, broken steps, other minor things) but this was a fairly inexpensive place to stay so we could overlook them and have a great time!

Convenient location

We had extra family this Christmas so the VRBO about 6 blocks away in a lovely neighborhood was perfect. All went fine & we appreciated things like laundry detergent, coffee filters & smart TV set up with apps available. The property could use some repairs & upgrades, but so could our house!

Lacks any comfort

If I could submit pictures of the furniture that was in this rental. Looks like they went shopping at the Goodwill. Bed were not comfortable at all. The towels were paper thin. Would be nice to have a tv upstairs. Not much personal touch to this place.

Sight seeing Trip Fun

The property was great and in a wonderfully quiet safe neighborhood! It worked perfectly for our needs. We primarily drove around South Dakota sight seeing the many beautiful natural wonders of the state. The only thing I would point out is that, although there is ample closet space, there are no dressers in the bedrooms so for our 4 night stay I had to keep the majority of my clothes in my suitcases and had to dig through them every time I changed.. This is not a complaint but more of an observation.

Water heater went out

The house was what we expected. Unfortunately, after 1st night the water heater went out. The bedroom carpet was soaked. I called the owner who was very apologetic and offered another place within the area. Unfortunately, it was only 2 bedroom. We agreed to use it and split our group up at both locations at no extra cost. We were there 3 nights. The owner was quik to respond to the issue., The repair of the water heater could not be done till Monday when we left. The stay worked out. You can't predict when a water heater will fail, only replace every 10 years or so. It was manufactured in 2007. The experience was eventful and our time with my niece was limited because they were in the cold water place. The stay was ok. The owner was very helpful from a distant location. A partial cost refund could have been offered to cover our inconvenience.

Good neighborhood, ok house

We loved the neighborhood and the park closeby. We walked there every morning. The house was not the cleanest. There were no tissues available at the house, so we had to go buy our own. There was also no pizza cutter. The pictures show a grill on the deck, but there is no grill. There were no toys for children as advertised.

This house served our needs very well. Came to visit family in the hospital and it was a convenient distance to commute.

Not the best.

Sprinklers went off during the night and were hitting the house keeping us awake. Paint was chipped throughout the house. Mold on wall behind upstairs bathroom door. No chairs to sit on out on the deck. No grill in sight that could be used. Texted the owner about the grill and got no response.

Great Stay!

This 3 bedroom home was beautiful. Rooms were nice and clean. The neighborhood was quiet and clean. Our stay was peaceful. Owners were easy to talk with and they responded nack immediately.

Safe stay

The property was in a very safe location. The neighborhood was well-maintained and friendly. The beds were very hard and the rooms need some updating as far as paint but otherwise all was well. The photos on the listing don't 100% match the accuracy of the property -- The decor is lacking but format of the home is correct.

Overall great stay

We were in Sioux Falls for work and had long days so we were just at the property to sleep. Other than a couple cleanliness issues - one that was an outdoor trash issue that was reported right away and taken care of immediately - the place worked out great. Great neighborhood and quiet while we were there. A trooper lives kiddie corner to the property which was a bonus! I would stay here again.

Family labor Day visiting

Great time here! Wished we could have spent more time in the comfy basement which is totally set up for movies, games, and snacks out enjoyed the lovely backyard more! We loved our time here! The place is better than the pictures!
