Altitude Adjustment - Cabin with Panoramic Views
Stay high above the clouds in an exquisite log cabin with striking panoramic view. Enjoy 180 degree breathtaking high-elevation view of Lake Adger and Lake Lure. You will be on top of the mountain and enjoy an expansive covered porch for year round views. Within 12 miles to Tryon Equestrian Center. Enjoy wineries in the Tryon Foothills Wine Country. Outdoor activities abound with zip line in Saluda, Green River and waterfalls all close by.

The space
Enter the cabin and feel the warm inviting feeling of beautiful hardwood floors, top grain leather furniture, huge fireplace and cathedral ceiling. Huge back deck with patio furniture, including fire table and gas grill. Plenty of space with 3 bedrooms, two bathrooms. The main water source is a rainwater harvesting system that has filtration/purification with a well backup.
We want you to know that we’re doing our part to help our guests stay safe by cleaning and disinfecting frequently touched surfaces (light switches, doorknobs, cabinet handles, remotes, etc.) before you check in.
You will be provided with washed and sanitized linens in each bedroom in individual packages.

We are pet friendly for up to two dogs with an additional pet fee of $75. Due to insurance, the pet will have to be pre-approved by host.
Since COVID-19, we have the linens washed, sanitized and individually wrapped. We do this to protect the guests and cleaning service. For our guests' protection, we want our guests to know the sheets and towels are clean and sanitized and packaged just for them when they checkin.

The host requires you complete the following before checking out:
At least two hours before you leave, put dirty dishes in the dishwasher and run the dishwasher.
Clean grill, if used.
Put dirty towels, wash clothes and linens in the laundry bags provided.
Ensure the fire is completely out in the fireplace, clean out cold ashes and put in metal bucket. Place bucket outside in front of garage on the gravel. Close the flue and return the flue hanger.
Place all trash bags in garage via the door on the bottom porch.
Set temperature on AC/Heat back to setting when you arrived. (Winter 50 / Summer 85)
Turn switch for water off before you leave.

Propietario/a: Darlene and David Smith
Hi, I am Darlene and I love hosting guests at our vacation homes. Currently, we have two vacation homes. One in North Myrtle Beach, SC and the other in the mountains near Columbus/Tryon, NC area. My husband, David, and I love traveling this country and meeting new interesting people. While traveling, we have stayed in other vacation homes and loved the experience so much, we started our first vacation rental in 2010. Even though I don't physically get to meet most of our guests, I enjoy communicating with them and it gives me such joy to give them the best experience that I can.

Very close to downtown Columbus, NC (shopping, restaurants etc.) but, three miles up the mountain and you have the most spectacular views of mountains and valley below.
