This fully equipped loft is in the one of most desirable areas to live in paris . The Oberkampf district. Public transportation is dense with 5 metro lines at walking distance. At the end of the block you will find the popincourt market which is a very active open air market open every tuesday and friday mornings. 4 excellent bakers in the same block ( even for parisian standards it is outstanding ) a large supermaket and a great selection of bistrots and restaurants. The loft consists of a main room with a fully equipped kitchen ( including a dishwasher and a combo oven) , a table for 6, a very comfortable quality hotel queen size bed ( 160*200 cm ) and a very large closet . on the other side there are twin beds for two persons . There are two full bathrooms each one with a shower and one of them has a separate toilet . All windows have electrical blinds and there is a washer in the apartment and a laundrymat steps away .The loft lies on the back of a XIX century building at the ground floor and opens on a tree plantered and flowered courtyard. You are therefore away from street noise.

Please be aware of the contractual 40 euro for any check in before 100pm and after 900pm. If the apartment is not rented the night before the 40 euro applies in all cases. If the apartment is rented the night before we do not charge the early check in, we can check you in starting 1000am, keep your luggage but ask you to leave the apartment until the cleaning is finished i.e., around 100pm.

Place was very clean and was close to two different metro lines. The place is quiet and set back from the street. The owner / manager was attentive as was able to assist in a timely fashion.

We had a fantastic stay at this home! It was so nice and quiet and tucked away that we slept wonderfully. Oliver met us on arrival to show us around which was very helpful. There were so many restaurants nearby that we never had to go far to find good food. The supermarket across the street was an added bonus and the train stations are only minutes away. Don't miss one of the neighborhood markets! They are close by and have everything you can imagine. This place was a perfectly located homebase for us as we discovered Paris! I would recommend it to anyone!

Great neighborhood and comfortable apartment

My daughters and I stayed at the property for one week in May. The apartment was a great mix of modern and historical, with stone and brick walls, but built in refrigerator and dishwasher. The beds are comfortable and there is a good amount of space for four people to spread out. The neighborhood is great! The cafe in front of the building has delicious breakfast/lunch (closed Tuesdays) and it is a short walk to many more restaurants and shops. There is a great crepe place about five minutes away - we went almost every day! The market on Friday and Tuesday is fun - we bought lots of fresh fruit and enjoyed seeing all the vendors (mostly food, but some merchandise as well).There are several metro stations nearby so it is easy to get around to sightseeing both within the city and to Disney Paris and Giverny.

Just Amazing

Such a beautiful property! Was exactly as shown in the ad. Host was accommodating and friendly. Place was clean and well appointed, in a wonderful area which was close to Metros, shops and restaurants. It was quiet and located within a courtyard. Modern AND charming. Would rebook in a heartbeat!

Great Oberkampf Loft

The loft is just amazing! We found it clean, well kept, well stocked and a fun vibe that added to our Paris vacation. The location is well suited for Metro travel as well as walking down to the city center (just 30 minutes to Île de la Cité). Oliver make the check-in and check-out process as quick and easy as possible. The loft is also nestled in a quiet courtyard away from the street - we heard nothing.

Great Loft for Paris

We enjoyed our time at the loft in Oberkampf. The apartment is spacious and comfortable for a couple or small group of good friends. Two bathrooms with excellent showers were a plus! The location is great, easily accessible to the Metro and bus system for sightseeing around Paris. The 11th Arr is a gem and the apartment’s location let us take advantage of local restaurants, groceries and shops. Olivier is a great host and very responsive.

Wonderful flat in the perfect location. 2mn from the metro, 15mn walk from Le Marais. Clean, quiet and very well equipped. Will book again for my next Parisian trip!

Great apartment in a great neighborhood

Stayed at this property for 11 nights in December. It was a perfect home base for our visit to Paris. This ground level apartment was clean and comfortable. Located in the Oberkampf district, there are a wide variety of dining choices, supermarkets, boulangeries, and bars to choose from. While we spent our days touring greater Paris, we found ourselves spending our evenings in the neighborhood.There M5 and M9 metro lines are an easy walk from the property, allowing us to travel easily around Paris, and to get to the apartment from the airport.The Host of the property met us at check-in and responded very quickly to any questions we had. A big thank you to our Host.We enjoyed our stay and I would stay at this property again when in Paris.

Perfect stay for young adults

My friends and I were in love with this property - the location is perfect and convenient, the actual apartment is quiet and private; along with the amenities and decor being lovely. We felt safe and comfortable throughout our entire stay! Olivier was very communicative throughout the entire process and stay. Would definitely love to stay again when visiting Paris!

Amazing trip to Paris!

Spent 9 nights here as our home away from home in Paris with our two teens. Plenty of room to spread out- the lift was bright and roomy. Court yard outside was beautiful, did not feel like we were in the city yet it was just outside. Bed was very comfy, kids slept fine on single and single cot. Wall dividing the area gave us some privacy, especially since my husband and I are early risers and they are not. Loved the neighborhood- the cafe two doors down was perfect for coffee in the morning and a block away were some fantastic bakeries. Would definitely stay here again!

Cool apartment!

Had a lovely stay in this uber cool apartment, in a fantastic area of Paris. Only small gripes were dirty pans and lack of a dishwasher tablet or two (suspect the two may be related!). Thanks to Olivier for coming at very short notice when we were leaving so we could retrieve our phones which we'd left inside - very helpful indeed :)

Well equipped, tastefully designed, Comfortable and good location

We enjoyed our stay at the loft. Our only dislike was that air quality felt a little musty and damp. As an asthmatic I felt as soon as we walked in. The fans provided helped with air circulation. However the loft is well equipped, comfortable and centrally located for grocery’s (Franprix), wonderful coffee and pastries shops ( Landemaine Ober), and of course breakfast at Méricourt Cafe and dinner at Melt are a plus. Another asset of the loft is, it’s very quite.

Comfy Sept 2023 Paris VRBO

For us it was farther away from the places we visited than we would have preferred, but the cost was reasonable and the place was very comfortable and lovely and secure. The neighbors do party in the courtyard on Sat nights so expect that. Lots of conversations late into the morning. It was warm when we were there so we needed to keep windows open else it was too hot. We enjoyed our stay, love Paris Thank you very much

Too many rules

Difficult check in process and have to meet the owner for the keys. Then he had difficult instructions on leaving the apt and charged 150 euros for locksmith? Not worth the trouble. Apt is very bare bones.

Outstanding gem in a foodie neighborhood

First off, the pictures are stunning, but still don’t do the place justice. The comfort, livability and decor are all outstanding. Not ideal if you require privacy as it’s open floor plan, but there are curtains in the master bedroom and the daybed is behind a wall. It made no difference to us though. The place is very quiet and looks out on the private courtyard. The place is ideal for long stays as long as you don’t need TV (we certainly didn’t miss it). The neighborhood is walkable and it’s foodie heaven, both in terms of restaurants and food shops just a few blocks away. We don’t want to recommend it too much, because we want to make sure it’s still available the next time we stay:-) Thank you so much for your hospitality.

Everything we hoped for...

I wanted a quiet place where I could concentrate for the class I was taking. I got that. My travel partner wanted a place convenient to transportation so she could explore. She got that. Olivier explained the neighborhood and answered all our questions when we first arrived, and accommodated our need to store luggage afterwards, though I'm sure that isn't always possible. If he could help us out, he did. It's a quiet street, close to very active busy streets. As you enter you go through a gate and into a serene green space. The apartment is on the ground floor and stayed comfortable in July, with the help of cool evenings and two quiet, effective fans. The listing and pictures describe the accommodation very well. I'd stay there agin if I return to Paris.

Firstly I want to say Olivier is a star and did a great job at being responsive to the issues in the apartment which are not his fault. The apartment is spacious and roomy and well designed but the big catch is that the owners need to make a concerted effort to dry the place out completely to rid it self of moisture and mildew. It is a garden floor apt but it felt like it was 10 feet below ground in terms of dampness/mildew vibe. Olivier kindly purchased a dehumidifier ( with some $ assistance from myself because I knew I couldn’t stay the week with you some dryness) also unfortunately as a result of being a garden apt there are some small flies that gather around any bright screen ( phone / laptop)in the darkness like a camping trip - and the towels were damp when I arrived in the apartment- if I was the owners I would invest in some fans and another industrial dehumidifier and some spray for bugs and get a new towel cleaning service. if this apartment was dried out and bug free it would be a dream

Our Home Away from Home

Our stay was perfect for our family of four. It became our temporary home in Paris. The apartment is set back from the street in a nice courtyard with trees and plants- quiet from any street activities. In the apartment we were able to relax and spread-out. The neighborhood is family friendly but with options for some nightlife too. It’s close the St. Ambroise metro station which we used daily to get everywhere in Paris. When we were done exploring Paris each day, it felt great to get back ‘home’ and relax. There is an FranPrix across the road and a MonOp just up the road a few blocks, so you can find whatever you need, groceries, snacks or toothpaste. We found a couple of boulangeries for breakfast or sandwiches and a place next door for brunch. One evening we cooked dinner at ‘home’. The washer machine what handy for our long stay. We would like to stay again and we would recommend this VRBO to our friends and family! Olivier- Thank Much!

An Oasis in the heart of Paris

This property is absolutely brilliant. Well thought out and designed it is was perfect size for our family of 4 (2 Adults and 2 teens). With the courtyard/garden right outside our front door it was super quiet and peaceful. The apartment had everything we needed, the beds were comfortable and because we had a courtyard we could open the windows every evening without hearing the noise of the city. The apartment came with two very quiet cooling fans which made sleeping easy and comfortable. The neighborhood - the 11th Arrondissement is one of the best in Paris. Centrally located it has great breakfast, dining and coffee shops all within a 10 min walk. Metro stop is 3 minute walk and having the chance to go for a midnight drink with my son at one of the many bars that are around was a highlight. Highly recommend and Oliver is a great host. This is one of the best VRBO's we have ever stayed in and we want to return and stay there again because it made our trip to Paris special! Charlie N.

Family trip to Paris

We stayed here for 5 nights. Location really good. We were out late at night (1 am) a few times and felt completely safe walking from our car (15 minute walk) to the apartment. 1 block from metro and a good supermarket. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen fully stocked. No tvs - I missed tvs only bc I like to catch up on the news and relax in the mornings. Quiet apartments. Felt very secure (you go through 2 locked gates to get into courtyard). I do wish it had air conditioning or more fans — I admit I’m extremely hot natured and we visited in likely the hottest time of year. So not a problem for most people! There were 2 fans we put directly on us at night. Has large windows we could open at night to let cool air in but I fear bugs! I also found that very few places have air conditioning. So it’s likely just an issue for me. Olivier was a great communicator even before we arrived in Paris. I would definitely recommend staying here and would choose to stay here again. It was my husband and I and our 2 college age kids (20 & 17). And we all felt completely comfortable and safe.

Good with the Bad

We want to be fair and kind and honest. We loved the neighborhood, away from tourists spots yet easy to take the subway system close by. When we entered the apt with Olivier there were swarms of flying moths everywhere and he had to set traps for them. There were a few issues that we had to call Olivier about and he did work to resolve them. However, due to his busy schedule we had to miss vacation sightseeing time to be at the apt to meet cleaning lady etc. The apt is big and sleeps well. Nice to have 2 bathrooms. Laundry works great. Our main complaint is it cost us vacation time to resolve the issues and Olivier, the property manager was not easy to settle with. When we left we felt there was no resolution. However a day later my bank account showed the Parisian Home Company had refunded quite a bit of our money. So upper management did a very good job to resolve our problems. It is important to not only have a good place to stay but a very helpful manager to work with. We felt bullied by his words and attitude. Maybe a different manager would resolve all the needs.

Great location and quiet apartment

This apartment is in a great location in Paris and easily walkable to Metro stations. Plus it sits back from the street, very quiet from early evening and all through the night. We stayed five days here in May 2025 and having this relaxing apartment to return to each evening after wandering the city very much added to our enjoyment of the city.
