Inspired after watching every tiny house show on HGTV and pitching the idea like on Shark Tank, Southern Faith Cabin was built and moved to our property by Patoka Lake. Enjoy this NEW tiny cabin by Patoka Lake/ French Lick, Indiana. This unique property is the perfect getaway. You'll love the outdoor space (swing, picnic table, fire pit, outdoor kitchen, outhouse- don't worry it has a full bathroom inside :-) and acreage all around you). Whether you're boating at Patoka Lake, yearning to just get away, reconnect with a friend, stare into a campfire, truly hear nature, or just read a book, this is the place to stay! Don't let a tiny cabin fool you, we've thought of everything you could need/want. Just bring your food and clothing!

We welcome boaters. We have boat parking and are located within 2 miles of 3 boat ramps at Patoka Lake. Please note: This is a tiny cabin and the queen bed is located in the loft. Please be sure you are able to safely climb the library ladder to enter/exit the sleeping area. The cabin is equipped with an exterior security camera. This system is a theft deterrent and monitoring system for when property is vacant.

Relaxing weekend in tiny house!

We loved our stay at the tiny house for the weekend. Very nice little place that was accurate to the listing. Host was easy to communicate with and we appreciated her suggestions on things to do in the area! We hope to come back again :)

Cozy and cute

The tiny house was everything we expected and more! We appreciated not having to bring so much of our own kitchen supplies as we've done with other rentals. We enjoyed the grill and firepit, as well as the view of curious deer nearby. Our time there was to explore parts of Hoosier National Forest. Thank you!

Southern Faith Cabin

First time staying with the hubby somewhere other than a hotel. We were blown away!! This cozy cabin was just the thing we needed for some rest and relaxation! Located far enough from town that we had gorgeous, quiet, dark nights; close enough to town to drive in daily for food and fun! The host was exceptionally friendly and quiet to respond Cabin was clean, neat, and fresh! So in love. Hope to be back SOON!

Anniversary get away

We were so excited to stay in a tiny cabin and explore French lick. Unfortunately our stay didn’t last long. The cabin is very clean and has a great concept. We got there late Friday night, ate, and went to bed. The only bed is up in the loft, no problem. Coming down Saturday, the block of wood holding the ladder up, pulled out of the wood and left me falling 6 ft back onto it. I now have 3 broken vertebrae wings in my lower back. I am not leaving this review to be nasty, but to make others aware to check things when you’re staying places. The way this ladder was held up, was not structurally sound, but of course we didn’t think to inspect it. Just be careful, I hope they have fixed it in a way that this won’t happen again. If that’s the case, this is a great place to stay.

Southern Faith Cabin, completed in 2023, is named after our niece, Victoria Faith. The property is nearby our other cabin, Southern Grace Cabin (our daughters middle name is Grace). We (well really Melanie) dreamed of having cabin rentals. After completing her MBA, she pitched the idea of a tiny house/cabin and it soon became a reality.
We love the lake! Our family loves to boat, hike, fish, relax and spend time as a family. There is no better place than Southern Indiana to do all these things.

We LOVE this property and recognize that it's WAY different from most (and that's a good thing!). There's no parking lot or cabins all around it! It overlooks acres of meadows and provides guests the ultimate experience of trying out a tiny home with the extras of an outdoor kitchen, fire pit, swings, and lawn chairs. Watch deer, turkey, birds and the occasional bald eagle.
