This cozy home is located about 5 minutes from down town Crescent City, in a very quiet and quaint 1960's neighborhood. This home features a large family room perfect for relaxing after a long day of surfing the Pacific Ocean. Bring your kayaks, or binoculars; Lake Earl awaits you at the end of the road, perfect for birdwatching or spending time outdoors.

House was very clean with lots of modern upgrades, such as appliances & bathroom vanity. My favorite part was the deck and beautiful flower gardens. Host was very responsive. Only 10 minutes from Jedediah Smith State Park, which is a must see.

Nice Stay

The property was clean and well taken care of. Very comfortable stay. My only complaint is that we weren’t aware that there is another ADU in the back being rented out as well. The backyard is shared and if you have the curtains open the people staying there can see directly in all rooms of the house. Other than that, everything was great.

Beautiful & comfortable house

The house we stayed in for 3D & 3N was big, beautiful, comfortable, and gave complete privacy which we could never get in a hotel. The kitchen was amazing with everything we needed. Nick the owner was quick to reply to our questions and he is a gracious host. My only suggestion would be less lights coming in the bedroom at night from the yard

Comfortable stay

We enjoyed our stay at this well-equipped home in a neighborhood in north Crescent City. The beds were comfortable and the living spaces were roomy. And a bonus, this is the first rental I have ever stayed in where the neighbors wished us a good vacation.

Lovely comfortable home

We loved our stay at this beautiful home. Spacious, perfect back yard and located close enough to everything. The slider door gave us a bit of trouble, but the weather was lovely so we just kept it open for most of our stay.

Beautiful place, enjoyed our stay

The property had everything we needed, including kitchen utensils, towels, and linens. We would stay at this property again because it was a great place to stay. It was clean, comfortable, and well-located. The host was also very responsive and helpful.

Cozy Respite after Long Day of Hiking

The Ruby Rose was the perfect home for a family after a long day of hiking Jedidiah Smith State Park. Both the front and back living room space had lots of pillows and blankets and lighting, a nice place to chill and read a book. We appreciated the extra comfy beds, the coffee/tea station, and the extra swim towels. Do stay and visit the redwoods!

Exceptionally clean, I mean really clean, and a fun mix of modern and period decor. Would absolutely stay here again and have already recommended to family. Host responded within a few minutes to answer questions. Wonderful stay :)

Great Getaway

This house made our family getaway feel like home. It’s located close enough to activities but feels off the beaten path. Quiet and extremely comfortable. super clean and spacious. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen is stocked with all we needed to cook for our meals. We will definitely stay again. Highly recommend this house.

Great house

Great house, very clean and nice updates. We loved having the family room to watch movies at night and there’s a desk in there if you need to do work while traveling. Minimal spices in the kitchen and no food storage, foil or baggies for leftover food but we purchased our own from the local Safeway. There is another rental unit in the back, a small ADU that we were not aware of until we arrived. There were guests staying there and they were quiet and respectful but I do think it should state in the listing that other people could possibly be staying on the property. Overall we loved the house!

Amazing home near the redwoods

We loved this house. Very clean. Well maintained. Lots of space for my family of six. Nick was very responsive to any questions we had. Great location, too. Had an amazing experience visiting the redwoods.
