The Blue Door Bungalow is a quaint property located in the Soda Pop District of Wilmington. This property is only blocks from historic Downtown Wilmington, live music, bars and restaurants. A very short ride to the Riverwalk, Convention Center, & Live Oak Music Pavillion. Just 15 minutes to UNCW and the beach!

Featuring a fully updated bungalow home with three spacious bedrooms, two full baths and a fenced private back yard with a charming outdoor area! The Soda Pop District has great breakfast spots, High Wire Brewery, Cugino Forno pizza, Bowstrings Brewyard and more!

We are dog friendly, have a washer & dryer onsite. No need to bring sheets or towels. We would love to host you!

The house qas great. It was not walkable for us, I'm 72 and my.husband is.69. We thought it.was closer to downtown. Overall we had.a great.time

What a great house and host! Plenty of space and everything was provided for a comfortable stay. The backyard is fixed up nicely as well! Recommended if going to the pavilion or beach, close access to everything!

Wilmington Welcome

We had a lovely 2 night stay at this house that is perfect for visiting with family. The location is great for getting around historic Wilmington and offers a fun neighborhood feel too. The host is very responsive to your needs. Highly recommend this lovely home on a visit to the Wilmington area.

Great House

Very cute house. We had 5 in our group and it worked perfectly. My husband and I stayed in the king bed upstairs, one daughter in the queen and the other daughter and her friend in the twin beds room. Everything was very clean besides the ice maker needed a little love and same with the backyard but besides that it was perfect. The neighborhood is okay. Thank you Cassandra for great communication through check in to check out!

Do not stay here. This house is in a rough area and smelled awful

Before we even got there, the owner messaged me and asked us to be there from 6-7pm for the internet people to come fix the internet. Then, when we pulled up, there was someone there painting the house. I’m not sure why you would schedule painters to come and start right when someone is checking in. The neighborhood was very rough and the house smelled like smoke. There were cameras at the entrance and in the back yard. We were unable to stay because we felt unsafe with the area and because of the smell. We immediately left and got a hotel. The photos of the cute back yard fail to show the shed that is rotten behind it that is the view. They sort of look as though she photoshopped trees behind the fence to cover it up. It definitely isn’t as advertised. Be careful! The owner refused to refund us.

Cute place!

My friend and I stayed at this property for a girls trip. It was very cute and clean. Communication was excellent. Checking in and checking out was super easy. Uber and Lyft were easily accessible to get us to and from downtown. Cassondra was very accommodating and was kind enough to allow us to check out late as my friend had a late afternoon flight. We would stay here again.

Cute house

This house is so cute and the neighbors around the house were sweet and friendly. The Blue Door is the perfect location between downtown and Kure Beach. The beds were comfortable and the bedrooms were spacious. The kitchen was well stocked and the ice maker was wonderful! The owner responds quickly to questions and concerns.

Family trip

The host was available at all times with any questions we had. The location of the house was close to downtown Wilmington, which was convenient, however we didn’t feel the safest at times…the street the house is on was fine, but the surrounding streets had some shady people around…riding quads up and down the street and loitering around in front of their homes. They left us alone and nobody bothered us so it wasn’t that big of a deal. The house was very clean and we had everything we needed for our stay!

Close to Downtown

We stayed here for a wedding this past weekend. It was a great house - close to everything we needed to be at downtown. House was super clean and equipped with everything we needed! Cassondra was great at communicating and being available. Would stay here again!

Wonderful and Adorable

Everything was perfect and seamless, from the questions I had asked before booking that were answered quickly by Cassondra. The house is adorable - everything that could be thought of to make the stay comfortable and easy is. Little details, like cute dark towels for makeup removal, really add to the experience. Very clean and spacious - beds were super comfortable, bathrooms were a good size, and even though it's not the largest house, it easily fit 5 of us comfortably, 6 would have been fine too! Cassondra communicated with me throughout our stay too, which I really appreciated. Easy check out process as well. Overall, one of the best Vrbo's I've stayed at, and will definitely be visiting again!

Perfect for an event weekend

We had a great stay for the busy weekend. Conveniently located near the convention center where we spent a majority of our time. Easy check in and out with accurate amenities making our stay most pleasant.

Clean, Comfortable, Cozy

This house was ideal for my Family to visit our college student and prepare her some home cooked meals and do laundry. The neighborhood aesthetics were lacking, but we experienced zero problems with the neighborhood. We only saw one neighbor and she was very friendly and kind. I would definitely come back and stay in Cossandra’s home again.
