Immediately upon your entry, you’ll be awestruck by the enormous A-Frame wall ofwindows that offers floor to ceiling views of hundreds of trees, hills, and stunningLake Logan. The sun sets right over the lake across the hills for a truly majestic experience.To your left and right are your first two bedrooms, and a beautiful green and grey bathroom with the newest luxury fixtures. To ensure your comfort we have the softestlinens andtowels, spa quality toiletries and our favorite localcoffee to enhance your experience.
After the bath, continue forward into the absolutely breathtaking A-Frame living area. If you can bear to take your eyes away from the cathedral-ceiling views of Hocking Hills, look to your right for a chef’s kitchen, complete with absolutely everything you could need to make the perfect meal. Stainless appliances and beautiful countertops are bounded by seating area and generous cooking space for multiple chefs and guests. Inside the custom shelving are many types of pots, pans, utensils, knives, and spices for your use. Of course there is also a Keurig with many complimentary flavors, a pour-over French press, and a variety of other things for your culinary pleasure.
On the other side of the living space is a huge custom Scandinavian seating area for dining, playing a game, or catching up with family while you take in the views. There is also a large television for streaming, a fireplace to cozy up, and built-in shelving with plenty of books and games to enjoy. Stepping outside is the main event, however, as you sit and take in the best views in the Hocking Hills over Lake Logan. Try to take your eyes away from the natural majesty all around you as you cook on your Blackstone griddle, or enjoy a wine in our beautiful outdoor furniture.
Back inside, you have two sets of stairs taking you to spaces to explore. Heading up, you’ll find the owner’s suite, with a balcony above the living area and even more breathtaking views out the window. The balcony features a twin pull-out loveseat for additional guests, or simply for a beautiful place to curl up with a book. Behind you is a queen bed in the private bedroom, which extends outdoors to a master seating area and deck, and a pretty gold-plated bathroom. You’ll certainly compete with your fellow guests over who gets to stay in this beautiful space!
Heading downstairs is the largest portion of the home. The lower level includes a huge sleeping area for up to eight guests, in combinations of custom built-in bunk beds and trundles that are in twin and queen sizes. Though the sleeping areas are generous for adults, this area truly feels like a cabin getaway for a large group of kids, and has plenty of play space to boot. Across from the bedroom is your brand-new washer and dryer, and full bathroom, with a custom tiled shower and state-of-the art appliances.
The main event of the lower level is the large living space, which has as many uses as your imagination will allow. To the right is a darkened area with an enormous sectional seating area and a permanent screen for streaming all of your favorite movies and shows. To the left is a bar area with plenty of seating, for all ages to partake in drinks and relaxation. This large space opens out to yet another outdoor area, featuring areas to sit and take in the sweeping views, including in our brand-new eight-person hot tub! Imagine relaxing with those closest to you, and taking in full-surround views of the woods, lake and hills. Nighttime lighting and a variety of settings make this usable and fun in any weather, year-round.
The entire A-Frame is yours! Exploring the surrounding land that it is built on is encouraged, you may even find some little surprises hid along the way, including a nearby Fairy Garden that appeals to all five senses, pumpkin patch for seasonal picking, and orchard with peaches and multiple apple varieties. There are marked paths that are open to all our rental guests, just please stay on those paths when exploring! Down the hill is the stunning Lake Logan that is state property, and available to all the public to enjoy. At the lake you can swim and fish and there are boats and canoes available to rent.
