Ideal spot for nature lovers as you are close proximity to many awesome hiking spots yet is only 10 miles from center city. Located off the beaten path on a quiet street that boarders a hillside on the backside of the home and a country road on the other side. Please note this is an eclectic mix of old and new, and we do welcome your woofies and putties, Pets are $37 per night per pet.

Dog friendly & close to Willow Valley

Host is easy to work with and they were dog friendly, even for our large, but well-behaved dog. Property is older, as advertised, and with that comes some uneven floor transitions and steps - ok for us, but heads up if tripping is an issue. Also suggest bringing bottled water as the house has hard water with a taste of iron.

Vacating in the dump

The place was not rental ready. Wires were sticking out of the walls and strung everywhere. The entry had a piece of metal sticking out from under the threshold which caused me to catch my shoe on resulting in my falling face down into the room. The bathroom was soft and uneven. The commode seat was broken. Master closet did not have a rod for hanging clothes, no hangers in the other closets. The kitchen was nice and the family room had plenty of seating.

Hello, I was very disappointed to hear of your review. We had our housekeeping out 1 day prior to your check-in to make sure it was ready and no issues. We have had many happy quests stay there with no complaints. Housekeeping had informed us that the toilet seat had been broken during your stay. We had dispatched a licensed general contractor to check on your complaints. The flooring is sound with no issues, and there are no open wires aside from lighting and cable. Front threshold is a normal entry. We gave you a good review as we try to be fair and reasonable when guests may have broken things, as that does happen. I personally take time to follow up with every guest to ensure their happiness. I did follow up with you, 1 day after check-in, but did not receive a response. Sincerely, Alan H. Cherkin
