The Bagley community is an area in Northwest Detroit the boundaries of which are West Outer Drive (to the north), Livernois Avenue (to the east), West McNichols (to the south), and Wyoming Avenue (to the west).

With unique, historic houses, notably quiet streets, and proximity to shopping districts and downtown, Bagley is an excellent location contender for visitors to Detroit.

Bagley is a bedroom community for professionals working in the City and the surrounding suburbs. The majority of the residents own their homes and take significant pride in that ownership.

Renaldo “Obie” Benson
The Four Tops’ bass voice who co-wrote the masterpiece “What’s Going On” lived at 18461 San Juan St.

Marvin Gaye
Motown legend Marvin Gaye lived at 3067 Outer Drive. In his book “What’s Going On”, writer Ben Edmonds explains that much of Gaye’s iconic song was conceived in this house.

Berry Gordy
The founder of Motown Records owned the home at 3067 Outer Drive until 1967 when he gave it as a gift to his older sister Anna and brother-in-law, Marvin Gaye.

Levi Stubbs
The lead vocalist of the Four Tops lived at 18512 Santa Barbara.

Stevie Wonder
Berry Gordy purchased the home at 18074 Greenlawn St. for “Little Stevie Wonder,” his parents, and siblings.
The maximum capacity for this house is 12 people. No additional guests and no guests who are not listed on the booking.

Early check-in and late check-out are subject to an additional fee and are strictly at the host's discretion.

Our concierge will check you into the property to ensure a smooth process. You must contact our concierge at the number provided prior to arrival at the property.


Any filming or commercial photography bookings subject to approval and agreement of host.

Medium or long term stays are subject to additional cleaning. Cleaning fee is $250 every two weeks for reservations greater than 4 weeks. Reservations of 21-30 days require an additional cleaning at the two week mark (also $250).

If items in the house are damaged or broken, you will absolutely be required to pay for it.

ABSOLUTELY NO PARTIES, EVENTS, GATHERINGS OR SMOKING OF ANY KIND. THE HOME IS MONITORED BY EXTERNAL SECURITY CAMERAS AND THERE ARE ANTI-SMOKING SENSORS WITHIN THE HOME.

IF YOU HAVE AN UNAUTHORIZED GATHERING OR IF YOU ARE FOUND SMOKING, YOUR RESERVATION WILL BE TERMINATED WITHOUT A REFUND REGARDLESS OF WHETHER YOUR RESERVATION HAS BEEN COMPLETED.
