Located one block to the UVA Scott Stadium and Campus!
Seven Restaurants three blocks away by walking . You Your Family or Friends and Alumni will be close to everything when you stay at this centrally located spot in a vintage style bungalow home built in 1929. Tall ceilings, That go from kitchen flows thru archway to dining room and into the den with , lots of windows throughout house . , Large covered front porch .Brand new stone patio out the back door/ fire pit , garden ,large enclosed privacy fence with screened driveway gate . Pets are welcome to roam(small fee) . Close proximity to UVA hospital , one block to Scott Stadium , also bus stop Trolley to main st downtown and JPJ arena minutes away and everything UVA has to offer. Only Minutes away from Ragged Mountain Reservoir, lake trails , creek trails .O hill Mountain trails six blocks up from house to pull over parking for walking , biking .Everything in and around the University has . For weekly and monthly staythe new front load washer and dryer are available except by request for shorter stays ( basement steps a little steep handrails both side ) - no Hot tub or sauna. The stadiumhill house site on Vrbo when you book The pics are correct and click any pic to show a larger view. .The first floor has untraditional bathroom but can be made private both doors lock shower/toilet side for privacy the foyer is 7ft long and 3.3ft wide , chair size toilet , step up shower ,new stone patio out the back door , fire pit chairs and umbrella, privacy fence and garden area , gate keeps the pets inside .

Was a great, nice little place to stay! Very conveniently located and had everything we needed! We didnt have any issues checking in or out and our dogs had a yard to actually run in! Will absolutely be looking it back up for future stays in Charlottesville

Perfect location next to UVA. House was super clean, lots of room, comfy beds including one downstairs which was great for my daughter after having foot surgery. Backyard was fantastic, private and enjoyed by us and our dog.

Check in was easy and the kitchen was nicely stocked-thoughtful to have a variety of coffees. Comfy bed and nice bathroom upstairs. The street was very quiet. We were surprised about how busy Charlottesville was.

Stay went well. Wished there was a washer/dryer but it didn’t promise that so that’s on me. Location was very very close to Smith Football stadium so would be convenient for games.

Perfect Spot Close to Wine Country

My partner and I stayed with another couple as we planned to visit a few wineries in the area over the holiday weekend. This property is ideally located close to the downtown area which has a ton of options for dining, but is still also close to the wine region’s best offerings as well. The home is spacious and has nice outdoor areas as well. We enjoyed a meal on the back patio one night by the fire. Thanks for having us!

Reunion Golf Tournament

We had a great time and this was the effect place to stay. Great amenities and location. We hope to stay at a fire date for a football game or other event. Favorite place to stay this far in Cville!

I was disappointed with the enclosed porch made into a bedroom. The bathroom, and shower for that bedroom was in the hallway going to the outside. That bathroom was very small your head hits the door while on the commode, there was an extension cord running from an outlet on the floor to the back wall to work the exhaust fan. We had to plunge that commode frequently. Everything else was satisfactory

Comfortable home with thoughtful touches

This was the perfect home for a visit to Charlottesville. It was very clean and nicely decorated. The host was easy to contact and thought of everything…from a sewing repair kit to half & half in the fridge. Location was great for visiting the university, restaurants and wineries.

Perfect Location

We loved our time at the Stadium Hill House. We were traveling to attend the SMU football game at UVA. The house was a very short and easy walk to the stadium. Everything was very clean and well appointed. There are also several nice restaurants within walking distance. We could not have been happier with our decision to stay there,

I grew up in Virginia been here all my life,love the hills and mountains the changing seasons , and Charlottesville is a exhilararating special town. With some 340 vineyards all are special and unique a greatv place to live or visit.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

I love this old Bungalow style house very classic build for that time ,in the 20,s its really reminds me of a charming country home but right here next to UVA in the city, around a 100 year old has lived along side the historical aspects and achievements of the area and seen the ever evolving campus while mainaining its rich history and rural like setting ,was lucky enough to own and renovate the property on my own, i really enjoy that with some great help ,this house has inspired me to up date but keep it original . Hope you will enjoy it too.

Classic style Bungalow with open first floor plans flows from room to room with high ceilings thru archways and plenty of windows ,natural light .Wonderful kitchen stocked full opens to back stone patio privately fenced with gate to accomodate the doggies.
