Relax and enjoy the sounds of lapping waters just feet from the back deck at Picture Perfect! Our house is recently renovated and tastefully decorated with a coastal theme. Located in the town of Colonial Beach on "The Point" and Monroe Bay, we are just 5 blocks away on the other side of the peninsula and the beach areas. Monroe Bay has several marinas where you can dock your boat and enjoy our stunning sunset water views!

This was our 4th time staying at this property. We can't get enough of the view and the peace and calm. The house is comfortable with beautiful interior design and all you need to feel right at home. This will always be our go to property when we stay in Colonial Beach.

We had a wonderful stay for a birthday weekend. The house was well located and adorably decorated. Being right on the water allowed for a peaceful morning coffee or evening beverage! It was a very warm weekend so returning to a wonderfully cold house was refreshing. Thanks for a great stay.

House has been nicely updated and the location is just amazing. We did not cook much but everything we needed was available when we did. The neighbors were very friendly and seemed genuinely happy to have us there. House was exactly as advertised, a fact that we have not always been able to say about other rentals. Our first time to Colonial Beach but we will absolutely be back and Picture perfect will be the first place we check for availability.

Outstanding view, house was clean and comfortable. Kitchen equipped with everything we needed plus. Would definitely stay here again. We were also treated to a group of Swans and other wildlife on the deck waterfront daily.

We had a wonderful and restful time.What you see advertised is what you get on location: Picture perfect.The check-in was easy and the kitchen is fully equipped. The house is nicely decorated.We went around the town and to the beaches. But for couple days the weather was not at its best: it rained and it was cloudy.Overall, it was a great experience.

Great stay at Picture Perfect

The house is beautiful and very clean, the beds comfortable and the view of the water is amazing!!!! The big screen tv was also very nice for movie nights. We had ducks and swans visiting us with their babies. Would def love to come back and stay in the future.

Water views and sunsets

The house sits directly on the bay. The view out the sliding class doors is absolutely beautiful! Scott & Dan are great hosts - easy to communicate with and super friendly, unlike the lady across the street, who is not nice at all!

Great beach house!

This was our second stay at “Picture Perfect”. We loved the deck, the quiet neighborhood and the visits from so many interesting birds. We had a great time riding through the area in our golf cart. We had great food at the local restaurants. We will look forward to another visit.

Lovely Comfortable Home

Very nice, clean and comfortable home. The interior was better than the pictures depicted. Our favorite place was the deck where we watched the ducks and swans. We would definitely come back.

Perfect for a Girls Weekend!

Stay was Picture Perfect! Three working moms took a break to spend time together and this home was exactly right. We spent hours on the deck looking not just at the water but multiple visits from swans, blue herons and osprey! Host provided great information on places to go out, an the town itself is overrun by golf carts, NOT tourist traps. Would definitely consider staying there again!

Picture Perfect it is!!

This place was wonderful. My husband got the house to take our family on a mini vacation for my 60th birthday. It was everything it was promised to be. House was very clean and sitting on the deck felt like being on the water. The only downside was the neighbors across the street and to the right made sure to let us know that they did not like people and didn't want us there. Not just us but anyone. They went out of their way to make us uncomfortable, but we didn't let it ruin anything. The house and location are exactly what they advertise. Picture Perfect.

Third time, still a charm

This was our third stay at Picture Perfect. We love the relaxed atmosphere. The view is spectacular and its so peaceful and quiet. This will always be our go to when we come to Colonial Beach. We love that community and we can't wait till next time.

Beautiful location!

My husband and i live up the road but we rented this house for his parents, for the weekend. The location is absolutely fantastic and the house is gorgeous. I could have sat on the back deck for hours. Dan was very responsive to all of my questions. I wouldn't hesitate to rent from him, again.

Great place to stay with beautiful views.

We had a great stay, home was just as advertised. Very clean, kitchen was well stocked, nice outside area with great views. Neighborhood was very quiet and safe. We were visited every morning and evening by a mallard couple. One evening we were visited by a couple of swans. Being off-season, dining options were a few, most restaurants had limited seating and limited menus. Dockside was our favorite, Colonial Brewing, Icehouse Brewery were good. We recommend renting a golf cart to get around town. Our visit was March 12-16. Spent one day each at Calverts Cliff and Flag Ponds searching for sharks teeth. Only 30 months from Fredericksburg, nice relaxing visit. Highly recommend this house.

Second time, just as great

This was our second time staying at Picture Perfect and despite the cold weather our stay was comfy and perfect. Our host recommended a couple activities we would not have known about otherwise and we enjoyed them both. We plan to return as soon as possible! We love Colonial Beach and this location is absolutely perfect.

Girls weekend

We had a girls weekend. We had so much fun! The house was exceptionally clean. The weather was beautiful and we sat outside on the deck all weekend. The house was beautiful and it was a great time! We will definitely go back!
