Bring your boat! Welcome to Ocean Road Cottage. We can't wait for you to enjoy our newly renovated cottage just 3.5 miles from the Surf City Pier!

This bright, spacious home is perfect for a beach getaway. Enjoy your vacation in this 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom home with den and fenced in backyard. Ideal for families and sleeps 9 people. Explore the beautiful beaches of Topsail Island, just 3.5 miles away!

Close to grocery stores, restaurants, shopping, mini golf and the sea turtle hospital.

Ocean Road Cottage provides a great space for families to enjoy the coast! Enjoy our single family home with large fenced in backyard and games for the kids. Bring your own boat or kayaks - we have room for you to park it. A quick 3.5 mile drive to Soundside Park where you can launch your boat or kayak.

Enjoy time outside with the family while enjoying the volleyball net, footballs, frisbee and soccer ball.

Located centrally between Wilmington and Jacksonville/Camp Lejeune.

We provide a starter kit of coffee, dishwasher detergent (2 loads), laundry detergent (2 loads), paper towel (1 roll) & toilet paper (1 roll/bathroom).

A great home away from home!

This house was a great fit for our family vacation. The house was more than enough to accommodate our family of 8 . It was cute, clean and spacious. It is an easy drive to the beach and centrally located to all attractions. The owner Shannon is a wonderful host and I would recommend this property to everyone!

Great meeting space

The accommodations were great! The place was immaculate, private and spacious. Eventhough we didn't use the backyard, we could have hosted a wonderful cookout. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to my friends. Truly enjoyed my stay!

Nice layout

This place was great for our quick weekend to the coast. Plenty of room for the family. It is on a very busy road and the biggest complaint that we had was the pillows they were like laying on rocks so BYOP.

Fantastic getaway

We had 8 people stay and had no issues with room or beds. Location was so convenient to the beach and all the shops. Could not have asked for a better stay. Owner’s response time was super quick and helpful. Will be booking again.

Memorial Day Fun!

The property was great, very nice and clean. The host was incredibly friendly and responsive before, during and after the trip. Would definitely recommend the place if you are wanting something in the area! It’s close enough to the island that getting to and from the beach is quick and easy while avoiding the traffic you would have actually staying on the island. The only issue we had was that all the pillows on the property are incredibly firm, possibly the firmest pillows any of us have ever used, so if we stay again next year we will probably bring some of our own, but that is an incredibly small thing to be the biggest issue of a trip. Wonderful place!

Beach Town Oasis

This place is a wonderful home away from home that just happens to be close the beach. So clean, cozy, comfy, good WiFi, plenty of tv’s, big back yard, all you need to feel at home, minutes to all Surf City has to offer! The owner is prompt to respond & super sweet. We’re a family of 7 who visit Surf City often & this home definitely ranks at the top!

Great property

This is the first time we've felt like we were at home while being away from home. Everything had been considered and having little starter packs for things so you don't have to go straight to the store on night one was so helpful.

Great place for a large family or small group.

We brought our two daughters a tween and a teen Was an easily accessible place and was easy to hop down to the beach and other areas. You’re not in the high traffic area so easy to get in and out, lot is large so I’d the weather is cool you have hangouts. Nice amenities was our first VRBO so wasn’t sure what to expect. Would happily use again. Seems silly to mention on a vacation /beach proerpty but Internet performance was great and TVs were easily connected to your own devices for a night in watching stuff. Great for the late evening cool downs when the kids share all their pictures from the day.
