While your focus will undoubtedly center on the lake during your stay with us, the cherished ambiance of our Iconic Northern Minnesota Cabin is equally captivating. The sight of the half-log siding cabin and the serene acreage guiding you to your private lakeshore will evoke a heartwarming sensation. Consider yourself transported to the cherished realm of "Up North," a perfect opportunity to unwind and embrace relaxation.

Upon your arrival, you'll be welcomed by the delightful screened porch and deck, both granting panoramic vistas of the lake. The seclusion of the setting will captivate you, and keep an eye out for the ancient oak tree that holds centuries of stories. Inside, the knotty pine interior beckons your curiosity, prompting thoughts about the cabin's storied past and the surrounding area. Not to worry – the historical background binder is at your disposal for a deeper understanding.
The main floor has kitchen, equipped with all the modern conveniences. The charming first bedroom is not only endearing but also conveniently connected to a walk-through full bath. An additional bedroom, complete with its original convenience sink, offers a perfect space to begin or conclude your day. The family room stands as an additional place for hanging out.

Adjacent to this, the sunroom boasts an array of games, puzzles, and reading material, setting the stage for relaxation. Furnished with a puzzle and game table, alongside a snug chair for reading or dozing, this space is a haven for leisure. The informal dining area, adorned with a grand oak circular table, affords breathtaking lake views – a favored locale for guests to congregate, whether for meals or festivities.

Venturing to the lower level, you'll find a an additional family room, bedroom, laundry facilities, and yet another full bath. This level invites comfort and offers ample space for relaxation.

There are two bedrooms upstairs & a big bedroom downstairs. We also have a great hangout room with overflow sleeping as well.

The Neighborhood
Feeling the urge for a fancy coffee or do you have a sweet tooth? It is a short walk to Ruttger’s Bay Lake Lodge. Auntie M’s for coffee, freshly baked caramel rolls (get them early, they go fast!) and ice cream. Be sure to visit the souvenir and clothing shops. Ruttger’s provides rental for many recreational items. The championship 18-hole golf course is a must-golf Minnesota destination. Putting and driving range are available.

Guest Communication
We provide an online guidebook packed with helpful information and links to make vacation planning easy! This guidebook is sent out immediately after the full booking process is completed. Guests love it—it includes over 10 videos showcasing the home and its amenities, along with detailed instructions and tips. We kindly ask that it's shared with all adults staying at the property.

Plus, every guest has our personal cell number and is encouraged to call or text us anytime, 24/7, with questions or anything they might need.

Guests will have access to the whole property. Door codes are sent via text three days before the check in date.
