We had great time at this vacation home everything was perfect. It had everything you would need. It was very well taken care of and very clean. Lots of room to spread out with our large group. Kids enjoyed water toys.

This was an absolute dream vacation. These owners thought of everything when it comes to a family friendly summer vacation. The house is fully stocked including lifevests, paddle boards, canoes, speakers, water toys, extra towels, pack n plays, black out curtains, and even coffee and spices to cook with. You know its good when youre already planning next summers trip. Forever grateful!!

We have been vacationing in the Nisswa area for over 15 years and this place has everything we have wanted in a rental home. The 7 grandkids enjoyed all the ammenities especially the big yard. The kitchen was the best furnished one we ever had. The hit of the grandkids were the 4 scooters they used for races and the two adult bicycles to use on the trail.

We absolutely loved our two week family vacation at Jane's lake house! The home was cozy, beautifully maintained, and fully stocked with everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The yard and lake views were simply stunning—perfect for enjoying peaceful mornings and fun-filled afternoons.During our trip, we made several visits to Nisswa to enjoy Rafferty's pizza, Red’s Shaved Ice, and of course, the famous turtle races! Jane is the most accommodating and thoughtful host we've ever had. She made sure everything was perfect for our stay, and her warm hospitality truly made us feel at home.We’re already looking forward to our next visit. Highly recommend this gem of a place!
Jane's house has everything you need to enjoy the lake - blow up floats, lily pad, umbrellas, chairs, kayaks, SUPs, noodles, kids water table, the list goes on and on!
A great sand bar on North Long Lake!
We rented a boat for a week and the kids had a blast tubing! The public access is right across the lake.

Excellent Again

This is our second consecutive year at Wolf Trail Lodge, and our experience was excellent once again. My review from last year has not changed! Special thanks to Jane and her team for being such great hosts and for helping us create great family memories.

Five Stars In Every Way

Wolf Trail Lodge had everything we wanted--and more--for a great lake home family vacation experience. Inside, each space is very well-appointed, beautifully decorated and thoughtfully furnished--we especially enjoyed the kitchen, main family room, lower-level rec area, screened porch and large deck. Outside, the large front & back yards, firepit, sand area, lakeshore, and the lake itself were perfect for our outdoor activities--many high-quality water "toys" and yard games for adults & kids, as well as bicycles, adirondacks, loungers, hammocks, and umbrellas, were all available. It is clear to me that Jane and her team take great pride in this property. We hope to return!

Exceptional property

Our family loved the house and property. The long private driveway was a nice surprise. Neighbor on one side was never there and the neighbor on the other side was there for only one day on the weekend but because their house set back from this house, we basically never saw them. The yard and grounds were very well maintained, and the yard was sprayed by mosquito squad. The boat dock was awesome for us. We brought 2 boats and 2 jetskis and we had plenty of dock space and the lake was never crowed. The house was fully stocked with everything we needed. Communication with Jane was also awesome. She kept us informed every step of the way. I would recommend this property to anyone with a large family.

Incredible plan

This was the most amazing property and the hosts thought through every detail. Stocked with so many extras that exceeded anything we have seen at other VRBOs. We brought way too much of our own games and supplies as they had a ton of watersports items along with outdoor and indoor games. Everything was very clean and well taken care of. You can tell the owners take a great deal of pride in owning this property and it was even better than we imangined. We had two families stay in this property and there was plenty of room to spread out to enjoy this great home and location. An overall 5 stars was easy to give for a rating and the only one small item I heard from those in the downstairs bathroom was the shower pressure was a little low. We were going to run short of garbage bags and dishwasher pods and I sent a quick message to Jane and she got right back to me and someone dropped off those items right away. Overall exceeded our expectations for a VRBO.

Outstanding Property

This house and property were stunning and clean as a whistle. The bedrooms were large and all beds comfortable for our family of 12. Plenty of towels, etc. The large kitchen was well stocked with dishes, glasses, pots and pans for large groups, and all kinds of spices and coffee. Only one fridge but it was big enough for our uses. The outdoor toys and water toys seemed endless and we made good use of them on the large well-groomed lawn sweeping down to the beach and dock. It truly looked like something out of a magazine. The pictures on the VRBO web site are very accurate. The only thing missing was a hot tub which the web site listed.But there was a large jetted tub in the master bath. We loved everything about the place and list it as #1 on our list of places stayed during the past 10 years. Jane was a very gracious host answering all of our communications quickly and completely. We really hope to stay in her outstanding home again in the future.

Thank you for your wonderful review! I am glad you enjoyed your stay. Thank you for bringing the error regarding “hot tub” to my attention. I have corrected the information to reflect jetted tub in primary bath. Regarding refrigeration- there is additional refrigerator in bar area as well as a small beverage refrigerator in screened in porch and a wine/ beverage fridge in main kitchen.
