Enjoy a stay in our cozy and comfortable home in the quaint coastal community of Humarock! A perfect get away to unwind, rejuvenate, and have fun! Find solace, inspiration, and a connection to the ocean and river with the change of seasons. Start your days sitting on the porch enjoying a cup of coffee and reflection. Relax sitting on the deck overlooking conservation land with the sun setting after a fun filled day. Immerse your senses with the sea and salt air while exploring the area walking or biking! The walk along the river is one of my favorites with its lush marshes and slow ripple of the river. The town's vibe is nostalgic of simpler times, mixed with the buzz and joy of life along the river, the marinas, and the beach. Visit restaurants in walking distance, for breakfast, lunch or dinner! Treat yourself to ice-cream at the walk up window near the beach! Or drive ten minutes into Marshfield center to visit shops, restaurants and parks! Feel like taking a drive? Venture out for a day exploring Boston's museums, restaurants and attractions, or head over to visit the historic Plymouth area! The location of this home is truly a memorable area!

Cozy oasis

We had a great time staying at Brenda's house. It was tidy, well furnished and well situated to every place we wanted to be! Then we could escape to the quiet little neighborhood.

Great Stay!

We had a great time here! The house had everything our family of three needed. We loved grilling and hanging out on the back deck. It was a short walk to coffee, food, and the beach. The house was clean and well stocked for meals at home. Would recommend!

Great!

We had a wonderful stay. Brenda was a great host and the house was exactly what we needed/ as advertised. We especially loved the additions of items for small children (pack and play, toddler mattress), and the effort that went in to the kitchen utensils/ plates as we didn’t feel like we were lacking any essentials when we cooked. The neighbors were also great.

Cozy Humarock getaway

This Humarock home is FABULOUS ‼️ Such a perfect location, peaceful and just the right size for our beach getaway. Brenda is so very accommodating and everything you need is available in this lovely home. The neighbors were very generous in sharing the fruits of their labor with us- tomatoes Hope to be back soon. Thank you for your hospitality in letting us stay at your beautiful home.

Cozy Coastal Retreat

The cottage was a welcome respite from the Southeast heat wave. It is perfect for a couple. The house is spotless, well equipped, and everything worked. It is very well represented by the online description. Brenda was wonderful to communicate with before and during our stay. We especially enjoyed morning walks around the South River, 0.5 mile easy walk to the beach, very short walk to the Bridgeway restaurant which also has superb takeout, short drives to Roche Bros. Grocery, Scituate Harbor, and Marshfield Center. We hope to return.

NE Cozy Beach Cottage

Great beach community with nearby restaurants, superior seafood market and a great homemade donut and coffee shop. The rental home is as described on the VRBO website. It’s perfect for a couple or small family with a comfy living room and kitchen. Brenda was very well organized and expertly handled a few minor issues during our 5 night stay. The upstairs bedrooms are small and the only bathroom is downstairs. I highly recommend renting this beach house. It’s a short drive to Marshfield attractions and to the quaint coastal town of Scituate.

Hello! New here and excited to start hosting! My family pretty much came to be in Marshfield! My grandparents had modest summer homes in Rexhame where my parents met about 70 years ago, fell in love, and the rest is history <3 My relatives, aunts, uncles, cousins, on both sides of the family, found felt the tug at their hearts here and built their lives here, buying homes and settling into this quaint town. We are firmly rooted in Marshfield through many generations. Did you ever have such a place, that just thinking about it sparks a flood of memories? The smell of the salt air, the sounds of the ocean and hum of sounds at the marina, the laughter, the fireworks at the beach, ice-cream cones and trucks, summer friends, water-skiing, family gatherings, boating... and so many memories. Such special memories of growing up in this beautiful area, and so excited to share it with guests to create memories and experience the joy and beauty of the area.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

While my family primarily was down the beach in Rexhame, we spent lots of time in Humarock! As a child my family spent a lot of time visiting the marina where my uncles has boats and there were often gatherings. As a teenager we would walk the beach or cut through the dunes to the road in Humarock, to the candy store and get an ice cream or take out my friend's boat ! The area was always bustling with activity and people. I loved it and remember it well. When my nephews were young we'd walk through the dunes and watch the Labor Day parade. I still love walking along the river and dunes to just take in the sites, the beautiful sunsets, and immerse in the experience of the quaint coastal town. Choosing this neighborhood was easy! It felt right, and meant to be from the moment I saw it!

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

This home feels incredibly comfortable and cozy. It's important for guests to feel this as well, and so far so good! The front porch is wonderful to sit and enjoy your morning coffee or tea. The deck is the perfect place to end your day, watching the sun set, enjoying the breeze over the marsh. We also found that our neighbors are incredibly friendly and generous as numerous guests have noted they have shared their garden's vegetables!
