Perfect Cozy Cottage

Great place for a couple to stay. Cottage is off the beaten path, but close to everything. Cottage has everything we needed and was clean. Will definitely keep this place in mind when we come back.

We had a wonderful quiet getaway at this property and would definitely come back! The location is great, and we loved riding bikes on lakeshore rd to the beach or dinner. It is a serene area and we enjoyed watching deer from the screened porch. The cottage was clean, modern and well equipped with everything we needed.

Nice Place, Great Location

Second time staying at this property and again very happy with accommodations, location, and host. Had some nice meals at Journeyman’s Distillery, Round Barn Public House, and Casey’s Bar. Visited a few wineries and the casino. Despite the extreme heat the property was comfortable. It has a well stocked kitchen, comfy bed, and nice shower which made for an enjoyable getaway!

Great getaway

We usually stay in union pier when visiting family every year and stay at different properties. This is one we plan to come back to. It was the perfect size for our small family and the amenities were great. We really enjoyed our time and the host Pati was communicative and helpful. Thanks for sharing your home with us!

Cozy cabin near the lake

This cabin is bright and cozy. Plenty of windows to take in the surrounding foliage. Host was very hospitable.

Fresh beach cottage

This is a new one-bedroom cottage in a great location. The entire interior is all-new with nice decor, loads of fresh air and all the basic you need. It's perfect for a couple or small family, we plan to rent again.

Perfect quick getaway

We booked just a week before and were pleased with everything. The property was exactly as described and the hostess reached out ahead of time to see if we had any questions. They offer a really handy property and location guide so we knew where restaurants and stores were. The hostess checked in to make sure everything was good.The next time we can get away for a quick trip we’ll be back.

A Lakeside Getaway & Retreat

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at the Lakeside cottage. We were in the tri-state area for a family memorial service and the property provided peace, quite, comfort and a welcome retreat! Although it was a fairly rainy autumn weekend, we enjoyed Lakeside, Union Pier & New Buffalo. Thank you!!

This cottage was an amazing getaway for me and my husband. We stayed a week! Patti is so nice and easy to communicate with. The house was stocked with everything you would need. The neighborhood is so peaceful and private but close enough to everything you would need. My only suggestion would be the house could use another window AC the house is hard to cool the living room and kitchen during the hot evening hours but we would still come back and stay again! Book your vacation here! You won’t regret it!

Short & Sweet

We did a long weekend stay for a wedding and this property and location were perfect for that. Since our turn around was quick and we visited relatives while in town we didn't explore the area except for the wonderful breakfast goodies at Black Currant Bakehouse (highly recommend if you have a sweet tooth). Our host was very responsive to the missing ironing board which was appreciated and overall we had a relaxing stay.

A fantastic getaway!

This property was perfect for our family of three. The location is great as it is very convenient to drive to Union Pier, Sawyer and New Buffalo. The property itself is very comfortable and a great place to unwind and relax. It's a perfect place for a small family with a fully equipped kitchen and other amenities. The host - Pati Flannery - was very helpful and made sure our stay at the property was comfortable and enjoyable. The neighborhood is nice, roads are scenic and the area is safe. Our child loved the big backyard and the beautiful birds and deer that just came to visit! All in all this property helped us get recharged and return to the daily routine of life.

Last Minute Getaway

We decided on Thursday to take a quick getaway because the weather forecast was ideal for October. We luckily secured this cabin! Perfect for us in every way. Clean, bright and comfortable. Loved the screened in porch and watching deer in the yard. Well equipped kitchen and spacious open floor plan. We cannot wait to return! I almost hate to post how great it was because it may not be available the next time we need to get away!!

Weekend Getaway

My husband and I recently rented this property in October for our anniversary weekend. The property was the perfect size for the two of us and came with everything we needed. If it was a bit warmer, the enclosed porch and outside fire pit looked very nice too on a nice piece of property. Check in was very easy and the owner texted to make sure we got in okay. It’s in a great spot near the restaurants in Sawyer and Three Oaks. We enjoyed cocktails at The Historian, dinner at Susan’s Sawyer and breakfast at Oaks Eatery. We try to visit southwest Michigan every year so hope to be back next year!

Perfect 1st visit to Lake Michigan

My wife and I celebrated our 21st wedding anniversary by visiting the Lakeside area to check out Lake Michigan the dunes. We couldn't have been more pleased with our whole experience, beginning with this perfect little cabin. Everything was clean and is like new. The area is beautiful and quiet. The backyard and back porch are peaceful. There is everything you need within a 10 minute drive, be that nice restaurants, beaches, wareen dunes national park, groceries, or breakfast nooks, they are all nearby! I'd give more stars if I could. Highly recommend.

Nice Cabin in Great Location

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at this Lakeside cabin. Great central location with only a short drive to many wineries, breweries, restaurants, and casino. Nice screened in back room that we used every night. Only 1 1/2 miles to Cherry Beach. A nice stretch of beach that is well worth the $15 car park fee. There are quite a few stairs down to the beach, fyi. The host was easy to communicate with and was very accommodating in dealing with an issue we had with one of the overhead fans. The bedroom window AC unit kept it cool at night and the bed was comfy. Nice shower. Saw several deer on my walks in this peaceful area. Would definitely return.
