Estamos ubicados en las relajantes orillas del lago Michigan en 9393 Shore Acres Lane, Lakeside MI, a solo cinco millas al norte de la frontera de Indiana.

Nuestras cabañas y Lake House están ubicadas en un terreno vallado y ajardinado de 2 acres con 200 pies de playa privada de arena. Esta lista de VRBO es para Cottage # 1.

Esta casa de campo tiene dos dormitorios y puede dormir 4-6 personas. Un dormitorio tiene una cama queen, mientras que el otro dormitorio tiene dos camas individuales. También hay dos futones / sofás en la sala de estar. Además, esta casa incluye una mesa de picnic privada, muebles de jardín y parrilla.

We are on a bluff overlooking the Lake and have approx. 100 stone steps to the beach. This can be difficult for guests with joint or health issues.

We loved everything about this stay! Property owners are super friendly and helpful and on site. The cottage was clean and very comfortable! We were able to use bikes and beach chairs and had a private area on the beach. We will definitely return!

We absolutely loved it! Very simple and quaint! The stairs are a great workout! The private Beach area was great! I can't wait to stay at this property again the host, Paul, was an absolute delight to talk to and became our 8 year old new bestie! Couldn't have asked for a better experience overall!!!

Heavenly beach and family memories

Our family of four enjoyed a wonderful long weekend at Lat's Cottages! The rental was clean, had everything we needed, and the hosts couldn't be more friendly and accommodating. The property is beautiful with lots of space for kids to run around, picnic/campfire areas, and of course the private BEACH (with many steep stairs down, though we appreciated the handrail and lighted path). Also a short walk to coffee and other local attractions. Thanks for the memories and hope to visit again!

Short girls trip

We thoroughly enjoyed our time there. The steps going down to the beach were beautiful and challenging. Lol! The overgrowth of some of the foliage around the cottages could use some attention, but the place was still welcoming. We will definitely be going back!

Anniversary on the water

My husband and I enjoy our stay on this property. We could not believe how beautiful the night sky was and we saw several shooting stars. We enjoyed kayaking, walking on the beach, and a romantic sunset view on the beach. Communication was great with the owner and we felt very well cared for. The fire pit was great and we enjoyed making smores. We also enjoyed the BBQ. It was a great location for us and exactly what we wanted.

Michigan in October!

Our family had the best time staying in Lakeside, Michigan. The property was maintained and safe for my children to run around and play. We loved the beach, and having beach chairs and toys available at the beach was very convenient. The fall leaves and opportunity to build a fire on the beach set the scene for a great weekend. The cottage was cozy and comfortable. We slept great and enjoyed the loungers outside the cabin. Thank you for a wonderful stay! We will definitely be back.

As Advertised

This place is as advertised. Low key, homey cottages with a private beach. It was exactly what my family was looking for. Super easy check-in and check-out. The stairs to the beach are long but pretty easy to navigate. Our 3-year old twins handled them with ease. The private beach was great. A decent size spot. Kayaks, umbrellas, toys, an other assorted beach gear were provided. It was great not having to worry about that stuff prior to our trip. The cottage was cozy. It had what we needed to relax, get a good night sleep and just be away from the city (Chicago) for a long weekend. Paul (host) was very helpful and took care of the grounds with pride. We saw him working pretty non-stop while we stayed and it was handy to have him on site in case we needed anything. If you are looking for a quick, quiet little getaway, this is the place. We would definitely come back.

Great Property and Location!

The cottages are in a great location with the potential of accommodating large groups. The Lake Michigan beach access is perfect with many gathering areas and equipment for enjoying the lake and beach. The host (Paul) is very accommodating and easy to get along with. Overall, I would recommend to anyone looking to get some peace and quiet and make great memories on the lake!

Awesome Location in a Rustic/Camping Setting

We had a great time in our little cabin. It had everything we needed and more. Nothing fancy by any means but the price point and location can't be beat. There was a family reunion going on in the main house and other cabins so we felt a little like intruders at times in the main space. But it was a big enough space that we could keep our distance. Was nice that bug spray was at the cabin, maybe left from another guest. Kind of a bummer that we had to bring all of our own towels -- beach and bath, but they warned us of that beforehand. The stairs are totally manageable. We had a 21-month-old with us and took a baby backpack that was invaluable going up and down those stairs every day. Our 5 and 6-year-olds did fine on them. The kayaks were great to have easy access to use. We would stay here again.

Amazing beach!

The private beach and property landscape are amazing! We were looking for a quite two day escape and found it! It was a plus that everything we needed on the beach was available close to the beach (kayaks, beach chairs, umbrellas). It was nice to have everything we need in the cabin (plates, tissues, grill,etc..) The cabin itself could use a furniture upgrade, but honestly we spent most of our time outside, we really did not care. Close to bunch of good restaurants, made it convenient to go out at night. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and plan to come back!

Absolutely amazing!

We stayed for a weekend gateway and it was perfect! The beach was beautiful and felt like we were Florida. The sunset was gorgeous over Lake Michigan! We were able to have bonefires with firewood provided by the owner. The owners are absolutely awesome, especially Paul! I would recommend this place to my family and friends. We look forward to our next visit
