This isn't just somewhere to sleep, it's somewhere to visit and spend time. Home is located in a quiet neighborhood, it’s a great place relax and wind down. The neighborhood has quiet hours from 10pm to 7am. This is a great destination for families and fishermen.

4 season home, 3 min walk to lakefront and neighborhood pool. Approximately 1,500 sq feet including 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Accommodates 6-8 comfortably. Bedroom one has a queen bed. Bedroom two has a full bed. Bedroom three has two twin bunk beds.

Wind down your days on the large front porch with a ceiling fan or the fire pit behind the house.

Amenities and Activities

This home is located in a neighborhood on Middle Bass Island that has it’s own water treatment and sewer plant. The water is safe to drink and in our opinion delicious! You will also find our home away from home including:

Fully-stocked kitchen (minus the food)

Coffee/tea

Fire pit

Books and games

High-speed Wifi

Central heat and AC

Bedding and towels provided

Rain shower systems and floor to ceiling tile showers


Feel free to walk down to the Burgundy Bay Marina and fish off the docks. This is located next to the neighborhood pool. We also are happy to book a fishing charter for up to 6 people to meet your needs.


You can buy firewood at the General Store.

Perfection! Amazing house and host! The house is stocked with literally everything you can possibly need or want! Clean, beautiful, great location - quiet. Bring bath soap. Soap provided is dish and hand.

Wonderful location, quiet neighborhood

We had a great stay! The host was able to secure us a slip in the marina that is a quick 2 minute walk from the home. The neighborhood was very quiet. The house had everything we needed! The kitchen was set up perfectly and we appreciated the outdoor fish cleaning station. The island is quiet and friendly. Thank you for a great vacation

Relaxing Stay

Best low-key end of summer getaway with friends. The property was very spacious and private. A short walk to the shore and a quiet neighborhood to take walks.

Great All Aaround

This house is one of the nicest on the island. We loved it, it was very comfortable and clean, and we we really enjoyed being able to use the Burgundy Bay pool as well. Would definitely rent this place again!

Short Getaway

Lovely home on Middle Bass! We enjoyed the quiet island. We brought our boat and traveled to Put-in-Bay a couple of times. Beautiful area... perfect amount of fun and relaxation. Wonderful hosts! We will definitely stay again!

Peaceful Lakeside Cottage

The island offered a quiet location for my brothers and sister and I to reunite our families for a quick summer gathering. The house was clean and new and the owners offered local treats to welcome those from out of state.

Wonderful place and superb hosts

We visited Middle Bass Island to view the eclipse. Rob and Danielle were excellent hosts the whole trip. We had a great time visiting with friends. The house is an excellent place to meetup and reconnect. The kitchen is well stocked for making meals and the decor is charming! We also enjoyed walking to the beach and taking in the beautiful sunset views.

Great spot on middle bass. I also loved that the property covered the basics plus more unlike most places there was k cups, good toilet paper & paper towels, trash bags, dish & laundry detergent, even some snacks. Host was great.

Stunning property nestled in quiet community neighborhood with highly responsive and helpful hosts! Rent a cheaper golf cart (w lots of wear and tear) from Hazards, eat a blackened grouper wrap from Walley's, and read the small signage about departure rules at Miller's Ferry.

Gals Get-A-Away

My friend and I had a lovely time on Middle Bass and in Burgundy Bay Blue. The accommodations inside the home were clean, functional and updated. The interior is lovely and homey. I wish I could have stayed - well - for months, not days. The ferry system is easy; as is the water taxi. We loved the island and I hope to come back soon.

Quiet Stay on a Beautiful Island

The home was clean and new. Well stocked with games, sheets and towels. We had an awesome time. Just be aware that you’re more than a mile from the ferry, and will need transport. Also note that the golf course is pretty bare bones. No pro shop, more lawns than fairways, etc.

Beautiful Escape to Middle Bass Island

This property was better than we could have ever anticipated. The home was gorgeous & the hosts literally thought of every detail to make their guests feel comfortable and at home. Rob & Danielle went above & beyond to answer our questions, give great advice & help us navigate our first trip to the Lake Erie Islands. Middle Bass Island provided us with a gorgeous & peaceful home base, while we were only a ferry ride away from Cedar Point & Put-In Bay for some faster paced entertainment! We will definitely be back & will recommend this to anyone looking for a unique getaway!

Middle Bass Island Jewel.

Our experience was pure bliss with this immaculately brand-new interior with high end everything. There is plenty of space for entertaining. The front porch was great for many to sit and enjoy. The AC works very well throughout the space. There are games for kids, a grill, space in the yard for games, and it is very close to the pool. Our group utilized many Island businesses for additional entertaining. There is fishing galore to participate in a 5-minute walk. Loved every minute of it.

Darling Gem in Middle Bass

We enjoyed our stay at this adorable gem. Rob and Danielle were very easy to contact and responded very quickly. They thought of just about everything to make everyone staying feel right at home. We enjoyed the neighborhood pool a few of the days we were there, and it was great that it was such a quick walk to get there. A rocky beach is also a very quick walk from the house. We had campfires a few evenings as well. The girls loved the game table and we played games just about every night. I really enjoyed hanging out on the front porch with our puppies who also seemed to really enjoy the house. We thought a week would be too long but honestly weren't ready to leave. Renting a golf cart for our stay was also ideal. Thanks for a great stay!

Founders Rob & Danielle fell in love with Middle Bass Island and Lake Erie in 2013. They first stayed at a friend’s condo and have been on MBI almost every weekend since. Rob and Danielle purchased the Lakeview Trailer with friends just 2 months after their very first visit to MBI. As both families grew, both families decided to buy their own homes on the island but kept the Lakeview Trailer. They decided to share their love of the island and offer the Lakeview Trailer for rent. They still own it with friends and both love to share it with newcomers to the island and also annual renters. In 2022, Rob and Danielle purchased Burgundy Bay Blue. Rob spent a year renovating it and they are excited to expand their rental business which allows them to spend even more time on the island. (Which once you visit, you will understand why they want to be there!) Danielle works as an elementary school teacher and Rob is a jack of all trades including a boat captain, volunteer firefighter, salesman, house renovator and shenanigans coordinator for their 6 year old daughter.
