Ashley requested that I send a text when we got on the ferry, so she could greet us at the cabin, and assist with check in. She filled us in on key codes, WiFi passwords, location of the climate controls, extra bedding, etc. The Cabin was exactly as described and very clean and private. I knew from the reviews, I was going to love it here. Ashley was very quick to respond to my messages and always had a positive answer for me. The location is perfect for us. It is far enough away from town to relax and have peace and quiet but close enough to walk if you need to which we did walk it a couple times. Our host did everything possible to ensure that we had an enjoyable experience at their cabin and our trip in general. I can’t wait to go back and I can’t wait to stay at this cabin again. All of the positive reviews for this property are very well deserved. You will be happy you stayed here and your host will go above and beyond your expectations in order to guarantee a memorable experience for you and your family.

It was better than I expected. The host was the greatest. She greeted us at the cabin and welcomed us. The cabin is adorable and has everything you could possibly need. Would highly recommend. If we make it there again, it would be where I would want to stay.

Cute cabin

This cabin with nicely updated and was well stocked with everything you need! Very clean and the owner meets you at check in and shows you around! They are available for anything you need! I would stay here again!

The cottage was clean, neat and spacious. It had everything we needed for a relaxing weekend getaway. It is a short walk through the nature preserve to the lake, on the quiet side of the island. I loved having breakfast and winding down on the covered front porch - so soothing in the light rain one morning. Our hosts were quite gracious. Thank you - we will be back!!

GIRLS GET AWAY WEEKEND!

Our cabin was amazing! Our Host was great! We had a fabulous time I would highly recommend staying at the Massie Cabins. We had everything we needed to make our stay so enjoyable and the location is close to all the fun things to do.

The Perfect Spot on a Great Little Island

My family (hubby, 10 y/o son, and I) just returned from a stay on South Bass Island, and I cannot say enough amazing things about the Put In Bay Cottage we rented. The location is great, in a quiet spot but a very short golf cart ride into town; a beautiful little nature walk down to a pier with truly spectacular sunsets; quiet & secluded neighborhood. The house was immaculate and really well stocked with basic needs. Our hosts were absolutely amazing; answered any question I had within minutes; gave us recommendations for everything we needed; and rented us a golf cart to get around. We loved grilling on the deck, hanging on the covered side deck during a rain storm, and making s'mores around our fire pit. The property is even more everything you could possibly want for a laid back get away! This will 100% be our go-to place anytime we're on the island. (PS-We went fishing with Captain Cliff of Freshwater Charters. Caught a ton of fish, and brought them to Topsy Turvey's where they cooked our fresh catch for us...such a great time!)

Wonderful Stay

Our family enjoyed a quick 28 hours on the island! The cabin had everything we would have needed, I just wish we could have stayed longer to unitize it all! Great communication from the owner! I would recommend!

Nice clean cabin!

We took a mini-vacation to Put-n-Bay for the July 4th weekend with our teenager and adult kids. This place was a great find. Nice, cozy and clean cabin just a few minute drive from downtown. Owner was lovely. Will definitely stay again!

Loved this cabin!

We loved everything about the Massie cabin! It was spacious, spotless, well-thought out and did I mention the interior decorating was perfect? Ashley and Craig were helpful and responsive to any questions we had during our stay. The lake was a short stroll through the woods and the restaurants/bars were close enough to walk to but far enough away for some quiet time. Can't wait to come back!

Wonderful Weekend

Our cabin was perfect! Close enough without being in the hustle and bustle of downtown. Great communication with Ashley. Everything we needed was there. We would happily stay at Massie Cabin again!
