Berkshires Retreat W/ Sauna by Evergreen Home

Take a break from the hustle at this unique and tranquil getaway in the Berkshires. This stylish octagonal home boasts a main house which sleeps 3-4 and a bunk house which sleeps an additional 4-5 guests. With 14 acres of beautiful private woods to explore, a red cedar barrel sauna, outdoor shower and access to center pond beach, our guests can relax, unplug and unwind.

10 minutes to Jacobs Pillow Dance, 20 minutes to amazing theater and restaurants, 30 minutes to the Berkshires best skiing.
LOCATION:
10 minutes to Jacobs Pillow Dance, 20 minutes to amazing theater and restaurants, 30 minutes to Tanglewood, 4 Minutes to Canterbury Farms for cross country skiing. 30 Minutes to Bousquet Ski Area, and 40 minutes to Butternut Basin and Jimmy Peak.

BEACH ACCESS: A pass will be provide to access center pond beach, just minutes up the road. A charge will be incurred for a lost pass.

SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS: The main house first floor bedroom sleeps 2 in a double bed. The second floor loft sleep two in a twin day bed with pull out trundle. The bunk house sleep 5 with double bed, twin bed and additional twin bed with pull out trundle.

HEAT/AC: The main house is equipped with a mini split ductless system keep keep the place cozy warm in the winter and cool in the summer months. Additionally, the basement family room has a small electric fireplace. The bunk room has a small electric fireplace to keep warm, but no AC.

SPIRAL STAIRCASE: The main house has a narrow spiral staircase to access the second floor loft and full bathroom and the lower level family room. In the winter months when the outdoor shower is unavailable. Guests must climb these stairs to access the shower in the full baton the second level. These stairs may be challenging to navigate for small children, dogs and the elderly.

PETS:
Small dogs allowed with owner approval, no dogs under 2 years old. Please reach out for owner approval on the dog prior to booking. No multiples. $100 fee will be applied if approved.

GYM:
A small home gym is located in the basement/lower level of this property and included the following:
an assault bike (specifically, the rogue model)
kettlebells
a battle rope
an adjustable pull-up/dip bar
a large exercise mat

The home is located in a rural neighborhood. You cannot see any neighbors from the house.
Guests have access to entire property and grounds.
Two unique spaces, a traditional one bedroom plus loft home plus a separate bunk house. The bunk house has electricity but no running water.

Main House:
The main floor of this home centers around a beautifully appointed kitchen flooded with natural light. Well equipped with high end cookware, dishwasher and additional kitchen essentials for making delicious meals at home. Exposed wood beams and a gorgeous hand crafted butcher block island with seating for4 plus additional seating for 6 at the dining table.

The main house also features a first floor bedroom with attached powder room as well as a loft area with a twin daybed with pull out trundle. Please note that the full bathroom with beautiful tiled shower is located off the second floor loft. Guest must navigate the spiral staircase to access.

Looking for a night in? Head down to the lower level family room. Fire up the electric fireplace, grab a blanket and get cozy to watch a movie, binge a TV show, or grab a book from our provided book selection.

Bunk House:
This cool space sleeps an additional 5 guests in true "glamping" style! Comfortable beds, electric fireplace, cozy area rugs and string lights will make you feel like you're in a posh treehouse. The bunk house has no bathroom or running water, guests must head to the main house to access those amenities.

Outdoor:
The star of the show at this wooded compound is the red cedar barrel sauna! Easy to use and available year round, indulge yourself, and reap the benefits of the sauna experience in total privacy.
Seasonally, May through October, guests may access the beautiful outdoor shower.
Top off your outdoor adventures with a relaxing evening under the stars. A barbecue grill, outdoor dining table and lounge area make for the perfect night of dinner, hanging and star gazing!

WFH:
With high speed internet and multiple workspaces, guests can drag themselves away from their outdoor adventures to get some work done comfortably and effectively. Belly up to the bar height island with your laptop or spread out at the dining table. If you need total privacy for a zoom call, a small desk is available in the first floor bedroom.
