Have an entire lodge to yourselves! Conveniently located in the peace and beauty of The Great Smoky Mountains, yet close to everything! Sunset Bear Hideaway is the best of both worlds!
Enjoy relaxing and destressing in the privacy of the woods and also adventuring to Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Dollywood, Dixieland Stampede, The Island, Titanic Museum, Flavor Town, Rain Forest Adventures Zoo, NASCAR Speed Park, or going picnicking, hiking, shopping, golfing, zip lining, playing putt-putt, horseback riding, and more!

Our favorite is hearing Dolly's train whistle from the lodge's large porch rocking in the chairs or soaking in the hot tub!
The Pigeon Forge trolley leaves from nearby Patriot Park and travels to Dollywood continuously dropping you off right at the entrance instead of paying for parking.
If you prefer to relax at the cabin, enjoy the reading nook, soak in the hot tub, rock on the porch, enjoy a bonfire, surf the Internet, play the full-sized arcade with over 400 games (favorite is Galaga!) and foosball upstairs in the loft. Shop at your leisure or experience a dinner mystery theater or shows nearby.

Don’t forget to drink your morning coffee soaking in the peace and quiet of nature on the porch or for the grill master, enjoy cooking on the outdoor grill. There’s a fully equipped kitchen, washer & dryer to help with your getaway needs.

Look no further - this is the one you want to book!!

This is our 2nd time staying at this property & will forever be our go to spot for staying in the Smokey Mtns. Exceptionally clean with ALL the amenities! Love the mountains!!!

We loved the spacious of the cabin and the thematic decorations. The Christmas decorations made our stay even more festive. I think anyone would enjoy this lovely house.

Great cabin weekend!

We enjoyed our long weekend stay over Thanksgiving. The host was quick to respond and was nice enough to remove the fragrance plug-ins before we arrived (sensitivity). The cabin is in a great location and met all of our needs. We had a great trip!

The convenient cabin in the woods

The cabin was perfect for our family of 5. The location is great to get to all of the many activities. Only warning I would give, if you are from a flat area Houston,Tx) the street to the house is a bit of steep drive up hill. We are not use to that climb. The host was very accessible. The area is very quiet and safe.

I grew up coming to the Great Smoky Mountains with my family. The mountains were calling my name, and Sunset Bear Hideaway is a gem! Peaceful, relaxing, just the sound of nature and Dolly's train whistle when I'm outside on the porch rocking! We love being in the mountains, yet close to everything!

Our home away from home is nestled in the beautiful, quiet, peaceful Great Smoky Mountains! Located on close to an acre less than five miles to Dollywood, The Island, Gatlinburg Golf course, restaurants, and more! We also have a large, private deck with an awesome fire pit area and fully equipped kitchen. We've added a 400+ game arcade console (my favorites are Galaga and PacMan!) and foosball table in the loft. Restaurants and grocery stores are conveniently located nearby. We love our cozy home in the mountains!
