Our family has stayed at the Bird Nest two times over the last year. The home is immaculate and is decorated so tastefully with the theme of “Bird Nest.” The atmosphere is completely relaxing and the beds are super comfortable. The back porch is amazing for sipping morning coffee and drinking evening wine overlooking the marsh with comfortable outdoor furniture and two porch swings. The host provides toothbrushes, body wash, shampoo, firewood, grilling tools, etc. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and will be back many times in the future. Ultimate relaxation with all of the comforts of home!

Everything was wonderful, location house clean and well presented. Decor and comfort was beyond measure. Property manager was well versed with the area and the property. We will definitely come back if we are in the area again.

Peaceful at the Nest

Thanksgiving weekend, cottage was so beautifully ,decor, beds so comfortable , fire pit enjoyed smores, back screened porch so nice to relaxe, swings so nice. This is absolutely perfect. Thank you will definitely return to the Nest.

Perfect in every way

Absolutely perfect in every detail. Decorating, construction, supplies, appliances, beds, outdoors, indoors absolutely the best. The porch and backyard were wonderful. When we had to leave one of the party mentioned that we had never turned on the TV..... no need. Thank you for sharing your lovely home with us. Memories forever

The house was spacious and nicely decorated. The kitchen was well equipped with high quality cookware and utensils. The large screened porch was lovely. The location was peaceful. Located within easy walking distance of the Harris Neck NWR. Well equipped for bird lovers with binocs and bird books and there were games to play in the evenings. Yellow throated warblers were nesting right next to the porch in the Spanish moss. Judith was an amazing host and went out of her way to help us when we left an important item in the house after checkout.

There are no surrounding houses. Only the beauty of the Marsh and woodlands. The location is an approximate midway point between Florida and South Carolina. Ample opportunity to explore 3 states from this beautiful central local.
