Glad you enjoyed your stay! We added some thing to do when you want to get out of the heat, which is a pool table, darts, air hockey, and X-box.

Agreed, we are hoping to get some good rain. However we are fortunate that we are on the main body of the lake so it may be low but we still have water.

Glad you pups enjoyed the property. Yea unfortunately the water is low but plenty of water to swim. There is such a gradual drop that the fish is not great right in front of the property but if you walk out to the pennisuala it gets deep quick and the fishing is good there.

We definitely try to provide everything you need for a lake property to have a good time with your family. We even added a game room since your stay with a dartboard, pool table, and X-box. Oh and a airhockey table.

I always aim to make every guest's stay enjoyable and regret that the water level impacted your plans. To clarify for future guests: there is a recent photo of the property on the website with a visible date stamp so guests can see up-to-date conditions. I also personally contact guests prior to arrival to discuss the lake levels and any questions to ensure clarity and comfort. While water levels can vary seasonal and we are in a drought and is something outside our control—we do have lake access via a private boat ramp, which allows guests to drive closer to the water. Many guests also enjoy walking the land in search of arrowheads from the Karankawa Indians, relaxing by the firepit (firewood is provided), or spending time in our game room with family and friends. As for the outdoor maintenance, thank you for that feedback. I’m always working to improve the guest experience and appreciate constructive suggestions. The wood piles on the property is intended for the firepit. I hope you'll consider visiting again during a time when the lake is fuller—it's truly a beautiful and peaceful retreat.
