This two bedroom, two Bathroom apartment over a three car garage on the Rappahannock River, offers a spectacular River view from large pool. Each bedroom also offers their own private balcony. Guests can walk to Garrett's Marina where you can put in your boat, or take a dip in our private pool. We have Kayaks and an outdoor firepit with seating included. The apartment also includes a kitchenette with a small refrigerator and heating elements for cooking. Beautiful location on the river just ten miles from Tappahannock. Pictures do not do this peaceful location justice.

Very relaxing and comfortable getaway!

This property is beautiful and easy to access. The pool setting and river view is very relaxing. The decor is very nice inside, bed comfortable, has everything you need!

Best getaway!!

We loved our stay here, with such beautiful view of the river. The pictures do no justice to the serene view. We enjoyed the pool very much and the owners’ hospitality was great! We would definitely recommend to stay at this place!

Relaxing by the river

Throughly enjoyed our time by the river! It was very peaceful and relaxing. The accommodations were just as listed and perfect for our stay. The pool was a nice bonus. The owners are lovely caring people. We greatly appreciated their suggestions of places to explore. We will definitely be returning to this little slice of heaven.

We hated to leave

We recently had the opportunity to unwind and recharge at this property, which proved to be the perfect retreat. The pleasant weather allowed us to indulge in relaxing poolside activities, such as lounging, playing games, and floating in the pool. The property's amenities, including a well-appointed kitchenette with a stocked Keurig coffee bar, enabled us to effortlessly prepare breakfast and lunch. For dinner, we found great options in Tappahannock, Esther was very responsive to answer any questions and made us feel very welcome. We’d love to go back

Felt incredibly private. Absolutely beautiful.

A friend and I stayed here for two nights while kayaking Dragon Run. It was perfect. The view is something to experience. We also spent some time with Esther. She is what teenagers these days call a “power woman” We will be back

Very beautiful and peaceful

My teen son and I came here to stay for 3 nights from Northern Virginia, 2.5hours away. We had the best time relaxing at the pool and a small sandy beach near by (2 minutes walk). We also went to the enchanted forest half an hour away. This forest has lots of artworks being carved into the trees, we had the best time exploring it. The hosts were so nice and friendly, they made us feel extremely welcome. We had the best weekend getaway.

Amazing view

Hosts were amazing. The view was amazing. Very nice place. We really enjoyed the view. It was a very peaceful location. The pool was nice but i am unsure what chemicals they use as our hair was very stiff after swimming to the point i could not get a comb through my granddaughters hair and it faded out her natural color but did not smell chlorinated. My one and only real complaint would be the little red ants.while trying to enjoy the squeak y

A great getaway close to Richmond but feels far away from the city.

The property is in the ‘country’ in a beautiful setting. The home is on the river with great views. The surrounding grounds and pool were lovely and peaceful. We floated in the pool and watched the Osprey nest and its occupants. The apartment over the garage, is perfect with two big bedrooms both connected to full baths. The living room eat in area were very comfortable and the kitchen was great. The apartment over the garage is well stocked. Any questions were immediately answered from the host. The host’s were very accommodating and included suggestions for local spots to visit and great places to eat. The view of the river from the pool is especially beautiful. We will be back.
