Charming New Buffalo Cottage

Relaxed cancellation policy due to Covid-19. Please inquire for details. Beautifully decorated studio cottage with a coastal theme. Featuring a large very private screened in porch and lush landscaping. Available for 3-4 guests with a very comfortable king sized bed and a full size sofa sleeper with new memory foam mattress. No pets allowed. The cottage has a kitchenette including; sink, microwave, small fridge and coffee maker, and dining table on screened in porch. Enjoy coffee on the porch in the morning and after a busy day in town or at the beach, relax under the stars while you roast marshmallows around the large fire pit. The cottage is a short walk or bike ride to town (2 bicycles are provided) and a 6 block drive to the beach. Enjoy all that Harbor County has to offer while staying at this adorable cottage!

Superb location in New Buffalo

Great location for a New Buffalo visit. Far enough away to be super peaceful but close enough to walk to anything downtown you would like. We walked to Stray Dog, Oink’s, and the Hummingbird Lounge. Bikes provided were a plus and we took them for a cruise. Great place overall and the amenities matched everything that was described in the listing. Thank you for sharing your place with us!

Great place, but…

We enjoyed our stay at the property, it’s a great place, but we were surprised when code enforcement showed up the morning after we arrived and said it was an unregistered rental property and we should not be there, that was strange.

So Perfect

This cottage is an absolute joy. It’s the perfect blend of Anne of Green Gables/Beach/English Countryside. We stayed here to celebrate our 20th anniversary and it was perfect. Everything in New Buffalo is very nearby for a short drive or nice walk. We spent a lot of time relaxing and enjoying the adorable cottage. The screened porch is fabulous. Even the shed is adorable! We will be back!!!

We loved everything about this beautiful cottage! It is walking distance to the downtown New Buffalo restaurants, shops and beach. The lovely screened porch is a sanctuary of privacy, wildlife and peace. The home is on a quiet residential street and offers bikes, beach towels and an awesome fire pit, in addition to many other amenities. The hosts clearly take good care of their home and were very helpful with area recommendations as well. We truly enjoyed our stay and can't wait to return!!

Charming Cottage

This place is great for seclusion and privacy! Charming coastal decor, roomy cottage with super comfortable mattress and great screened in porch. Super close to town and walkable to a few eateries. Great Cottage

The cottage was the perfect size for my husband and I. We absolutely loved the back screened in porch. It is located near everything but felt like you were tucked away in the woods. We even saw a momma deer and her two babies.

This cottage is fantastic!

My husband and I spent the weekend in New Buffalo and rented this cottage. We loved everything about it. It was very homey and extremely close to town. I am the definition of a homebody but I didn’t want to leave once we got there! The owners answered all of our questions and booking was very easy. We will be back next year!

Cute and cozy

We stayed the weekend to enjoy Lake Michigan beaches and downtown New Buffalo. The large screened porch makes you feel like you’re in the woods. The main living space is comfortable and well designed. Within walking distance of downtown NB. I would stay again.

Perfect spot for Sister’s Trip

Had the best getaway with my sister here. The cottage is so charming, peaceful and absolutely idyllic. Surrounded by trees, the cutest yard, and the secluded screened in porch, we couldn’t have asked for more. Perfect location to walk and/or ride the two cute beach cruisers provided by the hosts everywhere. Hosts were super responsive and all of their local recommendations were spot on! Will absolutely stay here again and can’t recommend this property enough!

It was the cutest cottage with a perfect location, close to everything in New Buffalo but also in a very quiet neighborhood. It was very clean and had everything we needed for a long weekend. really enjoy the outside fire pit, for the evenings. Would definitely return. Loved it

Quiet Location Close to Everything

What a treat staying here. It is an easy 1/4 mile walk into town and about a mile to the beach. The house is equipped with everything you need for the beach with chairs and towels. The bed and furniture was very comfortable. As in every previous review, the screened in porch was awesome. I felt as if I was in the middle of the woods. Even 10 wild turkeys walked within 10 feet of the porch one afternoon. Definitely enjoyed our stay.

Great first visit to New Buffalo

We were looking for a nice place to stay for a few days after going to Chicago for a wedding and we definitely found the right place! Only 1 hour and 15 minutes from downtown Chicago but we felt the calm of New Buffalo as soon as we drove into town. The calmness was magnified as we settled into this great cottage It was extremely clean, great bed and large peaceful screened in porch. We enjoyed the peace and quiet along with a nice fire in the evening in the fire pit. Downtown NB and Lake Michigan were an easy 5 minute drive but we could have used the bikes provided. We will definitely stay here again.

Stunning Stay

Our family of three had the most incredible stay here. It was clean, had everything we needed (and more), great location and a great host. The back screened in porch was a gem. We will stay again soon!
