Golf Trip

The location was amazing! We were within walking distance of our round at Pebble and both dinners (The Bench and Tap Room). The home was clean and the grounds were beautiful. Susan was great to work with. Efficient communication and accomodating. Interior could use some updating. Looked and smelled like "Grandma's" house. It wasn't a turn off but noticeable. For our use, it worked perfectly.

Birthday Trip

The house is in the heart of Pebble Beach with ocean views. A terrace extends across the entire back of the house. It is spacious and has a family feel to it. We loved every second of staying there. We have stayed here before and we will definitely be back. If you want to be in the center of Pebble Beach and all that that means this is the house for you.

Ideal rental walking distance to Lodge at Pebble Beach

We rented this house for the week of our daughter's wedding at the Lodge at Pebble Beach. Fifty of our guests stayed at the Lodge, and it was so convenient to walk over to visit with them and join them for meals, and then come back to a quiet space by ourselves. The house was immaculately clean when we checked in. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything we needed to prepare meals all week. The neighborhood is completely quiet at night, and so peaceful that deer roam in the yard in the mornings. We hosted a day-after-the-wedding donut brunch for our guests, and the expansive patio was perfect for the event. We turned on the fire pit, and our guests loved the view. I would happily rent this property again. The house is beautiful and well-maintained, the location is ideal, and the property management is very professional. The Spa at Casa Palmero is also just a quick walk away, and it would be fun to come back for a girls' trip.

Peaceful oasis with spectacular views

An amazing home and amazing location! Perfect escape to quarantine. The house is beautiful, but spent most of our two weeks sitting outside by the firepit and soaking up the views. Susan is very responsive and a terrific host. Highly recommended!!!

Incredible Home

This home is a 1960's masterpiece, built to raise a family and entertain in one of the grandest locations of them all. With views of Stillwater bay and the surrounding carmel mountains, and literally a stone's throw from the Pebble Beach resort, you can't beat this location. Oh, and you can order room service from any of the restaurants at the lodge! But, what my family and I enjoyed the most was the home itself . Built with such space in every room that the concept of an open floor plan seems redundant, and instead every room provides a unique, but interconnected experience that was a treat for my family. - we particularly loved the padded reading benches in the bay windows throughout the house! My daughter is just over two years old and she was enamored with all of the beautiful double doors separating rooms... "hi!".. "goodbye!" she'd giggle-out while opening and closing them. We played a game with the swinging door between the butler's pantry and the dining room.. "oh, hi!!", "oh, goodbye!"... we'd laugh as we'd exchange places on either side of the door. My son is 7 months old and we were able to place him in the bedroom just off the master - and he slept well! Oh, and the TV has xfiinity, so we logged into Netflix and Amazon Prime and were able to watch movies with the kiddos when we needed a break. My wife and I enjoyed sitting outside in the evenings when the kiddos were asleep - the views and the large natural gas fire pit were awesome. World class food delivered by the Pebble Beach resort staff, (oh, and we brought some yummy wine, but could have ordered that as well!) was enough to make for a perfect night. One night it rained and we sat and played dominos inside on a family room table with a fire crackling along side us. Wonderful time. A couple of small tips - bring shampoo, for some reason we didn't seem to find any; oh, and bring a portable music player - jambox, sonos move, etc... we didn't find anything for indoor/outdoor sound. All in all, an amazing experience in an amazing house! ps - though I didn't play golf on this trip, I'm a golfer and I can't help but think this is the perfect house for a golfing trip (with or without families). I paid nearly as much last year for a room for my Dad and I at the Lodge off the 18th hole (note: currently torn down!)... the house is no-brainer comparitively... it's even closer to the lodge than our room was!

I can help plan your travel itinerary since I am so familiar with the Monterey Peninsula and all of California. I also own Tradewinds Carmel, a luxury boutique hotel in downtown Carmel, so I know how to set up the house for guests and make you feel special. I buy only the finest linens, towels and bath products. I will try to satisfy all special requests. I have had very discerning guests stay at Cypress and several have now decided to return each year. I am passionate about what I do and want each guest to feel special!

The location of Cypress is incomparable to any other home. Walk across the street to Casa Palmero spa and enjoy a spa treatment, or simply have a manicure and hair cut! Massage treatments can be arranged at Cypress. Walk a few steps to the Lodge at Pebble Beach and have lunch while watching the golfers finish at the 18th of Pebble! One block down the street is Stillwater Cove, the pier and the private beach. There is so much to do just within a few steps!
