Esta hermosa casa de troncos de 4,000 pies cuadrados tiene capacidad para 24 personas. Las habitaciones son muy grandes con la mayoría de los vestidores, vestidores grandes. Es un gran lugar para pasar un fin de semana relajante, semana o mes. Tiene un lote arbolado muy privado, con una atractiva luz natural en el interior. Hay muchas actividades para disfrutar durante todo el año. Está a pocos pasos de una zona de ski-in, ski-out. En primavera, verano y otoño hay un sendero para bicicletas de asfalto que bordea el patio trasero con una gran cantidad de campos de golf muy respetables cerca.

Sentarse en la terraza trasera y asar a la parrilla es una de las muchas formas relajantes de disfrutar de su escapada.

Amazing stay for a golf trip to Boyne

We used the property for a golf outing with 20 people and it’s already been mentioned that we’d love to just do the outing there every year instead of looking into other locations. The house was better than expected with tons of room and amenities. I would absolutely recommend anyone look into this location if planning a similar vacation.

Summer Weekend Up North

Our group spent the weekend up North and had a great time. We were able to spend time in Boyne Falls and Petoskey and when it rained, our place had plenty of space and things to do to enjoy ourselves despite being inside.

Ski weekend

Ski weekend planned but no snow so the Kitz Cabin benefit didn’t work out. Drive to and from the base of the mountain is a long one. House with seven bedrooms a nice benefit. House was clean with plenty of towels.

Great Ski Trip weekend

Perfect location and house for our family reunion

We really enjoyed the house. It worked very well for my family. The family area was perfect for the grandkids to gather and play together. The kitchen had everything we needed and worked great preparing the meals. The location of the house was perfect with Avalanche Bay just a few minutes away as well as easy drive to Petoskey or Charlevoix. Also, with access to Deer Lake and all its amenities as well as the Boyne golf courses, we had lots of choices of activities. I love the area and we are already talking about doing this again next year here.

Office training

We were there for a conference at Boyne Mountain. The property offered a large enough space to accommodate all of our staff members. It was clean and comfortable. The road to get there is a bit tricky in the dark and rain, but i am sure the view and setting were worth it. We arrived and left in darkness, so we were not able to enjoy it. We would stay there again.

Awesome place to stay in northern Michigan

We had our 15-member family stay here in July. What a beautiful and spacious home!! We had plenty of room for everyone. All the kids and 1 set of parents stayed in the basement which created a space just for the kids during the day and allowed more quiet, adult conversation on the main level. Just so you're not surprised...the cabin is a good 10-minute drive from the entrance--beautiful wooded area through a golf course so enjoy the views on your way. Most everything you need is at the cabin, but I'd advise you bring your own dish sponge and your own pot holders which were the only things not provided for our stay. Every room is cozy and well-decorated. Lots of board games available and Roku in nearly every room. Great place for large crowds to gather!!!

Ski Trip 2020

Our giant extended family has gone to Boyne for the last 6 years. This was our first time staying at this house. It was so nice being all together rather than divided between multiple condos. The house was absolutely perfect and the pics dont do it justice! We all had our own rooms and the man cave bedroom was separate from the game room creating a space that easily slept 4. The bathrooms were appointed with everything anyone might have forgotten which was such a nice touch. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed including a spice rack, plenty of pans, Tupperware, garbage bags, etc. They had a Bluetooth speaker, books and games galore, and smart TVs! We had such a great time and enjoyed being deep into the mountain. Parking at kits

Nice wooded lot. Bigger than it looks

We came here for our annual family reunion. 14 of us stayed here with plenty of space to spread out. Everyone had their own space if they needed a minute. The deck and backyard also give some room to escape. There are walking paths all over the place with easy access to the Boyne Mountain Resort. Not all their amenities are included, but we did get to use the beach at Deer Lake and the kayak/canoe signout. Lots of wineries mearby. Boyne City and Charlevoix aren't far and they have lots to do. The wifi and TV setups helped with unwinding at the end of the day. The kitchen was enough toncook for 14 every night with ease. Lots of counter space and room to work. The owner was easy to get in touch with and was helpful in suggesting things to do and how to make the most of what the house had. Great all around place for people of all ages.

Fun Weekend

My wife had a suprise birthday party for me at the house with several of our friends. Everything about the house and location were great. The only problem we encountered was limited hot water, which was really only an issue in the mornings when several people were trying to shower. I was the third person to shower on the second morning and the hot water ran out about 3 minutes into my shower. We had 11 people staying in the house so cold showers were the norm for most people. I would recommend a larger water heater be installed to accommodate big groups, or the temperature be turned up if there is already a larger unit in the house. I did not shower in the basement, but I was told by the two couples that slept down there that even when they were the first ones to shower, the water would only get luke warm. I looked at the shower briefly and it appeared to have been recently installed or updated. I found some drywall mud on it that had yet to be cleaned off. The valve on it probably just needed to be adjusted to allow more hot water to flow, we may have just happened to be one of the first to use it. Other than the water issue everything was nice. Big and open inside with plently of room for our group. We would definetly stay here again.

From the time that I booked the property, the manager was excellent at communicating. The area is nice and feels safe. The house was very clean. The outdoor area needed some cleaning up in the back and there were some minor issues in the kitchen, which I let the owner know about and she quickly replied. I’m confident in working with her that she was truly unaware. Boyne area is a lot of fun. My siblings and our kids loved being in the big house all together. The kids had their own space downstairs to hang out. Everyone of all ages had a blast!

Location location location

Booked the stay with my two sons thier girls and 10 of thier best friends for a ski weekend. Access to Boyne was easy. Staying in the wooded snow covered back side of the mountian was perfection. The house had everything that this large group could ask for. enough and having the snow was great

Perfect for a family gather

We needed a large accommodation for an our extended family holiday. All meals but one were to be made by members of the family. The kitchen was well appointed and equipped. It does need a bit of organization, as things get mixed up during rentals. The bedrooms were comfortable and afforded privacy when one needed a break from socializing. The cabin does need a thorough cleaning. We would like to commend our hostess who did a terrific job of answering all our questions.

Family Xmas gift long weekend in Boyne, ski, waterpark etc.

Carol the host was kind and very quick responding to questions etc. The house is big and the beds were comfy but overall it needs to be cleaned out and upgraded! Not sure why there’s a need for three dining room tables and a church bench in the living gathering area? A big comfy sectional with a few end tables would have been cozier and more comfortable! Grill not really appealing so we cooked burgers brats etc inside! It was nice to be able to park a car in the garage but again it was in desperate need of being cleaned out as it could have resulted in a safety issue! Lastly I’m not sure you could really tag this home as a ski in/ ski out option, kind of a very hilly up and down steep road to walk on to the kitz cabin area where you could catch a trail to ski on that we didn’t use at all! We as a family created some great memories and had Fun being together this weekend, but for what it cost and what we got I would not rent again! Sorry just being honest as I’ve stayed in a lot of VRBO’s!

Perfect space for our family of 17.

Great property. Spacious for our family of 10 adults and 7 children 7-13 yo. Kitchen was huge and well equiped. Living room was large enough for all the adults and kids could move in at out at the same time with ease. Lower rec room allowed separation if kids wanted that.We look forward to returning next year.

Winter Season:
The home is .2 miles (350 yards) from a ski-in, ski-out, (just down the street), behind a "common cabin" called Kitz Cabin. The Escape Trail is behind Kitz Cabin, which leads to the Superbowl Trail is the far left trail on the Boyne Mountain ski trail map. Most skiers walk to the trails, but there is a parking lot if you wish to drive.

Summer Season:
There is complimentary access to a private lake and beach at the base of The Reserve entrance, called Deer Lake Beach. It is a 2.7 mile drive to the rental home. There are chairs and tables provided at the beautiful, sandy beach.
