This historic inn has 3 floors and 5 units in total. This listing is for the 2nd floor unit. You may be sharing the common areas in and around the building with other guests during your stay. There is no elevator on site, you must climb stairs to access all of the units. None of the units have stairs inside the units. Please inquire if you would like to rent additional units.

Unbeatable year-round location for groups looking to connect with each other and everything this beautiful area has to offer: Across the street from the Matterhorn Bar, less than a mile from Stowe Mountain Resort and the Stowe Cross Country Center, a 3-minute drive to Topnotch resort, less than a ten-minute drive from Mount Mansfield, Smuggler’s Notch, and Underhill State Park, 10-minute drive to downtown Stowe.
Summer travelers: Scenic Biking/Downhill biking, hiking, and swimming within walking distance from the front door: Ranch Brook is right at the end of the road from us (2-minute walk) - great spot for some fly fishing and casual waterfront time, 10-minute walk (less than half a mile) to the more well known Fosters swimming hole - a summer swimming destination for those that know it!
Getting Around:
The best way to get around is by car. We recommend bringing your own, but the closest car rental services are located in the nearby towns of Burlington and Berlin. We are also just a 3-minute walk to a Free Mountain Road shuttle stop that will take you to Stowe Mountain!

We loved our week spent at the Inn. It was very clean, nice bed linens and crisp white towels. The kids had fun sledding on the side yard. The ski slopes were close by as well as some great restaurants. One of our best VRBO stays.

The place was great, very nice layout and comfortable mattresses and furniture. The only thing that could be improved is having only 2 parking spots for a place that sleeps 10 could be challenging. It wasn't because only one unit was occupied but at full occupancy it could be a challenge.

We loved staying here. The apartment was very nicely renovated with every detail considered and the designs modern and very attractive. The kitchen was well stocked. Beds were comfortable the beds in the bunk room were extremely sturdy and large enough for teen boys and would have accommodated adults. There was plenty of space for our group of two families and could have accommodated more. Full size laundry was extremely convenient. The shampoo and body wash in the showers was a nice addition. Host was extremely quick to respond and very accommodating. The location was excellent to get to the mountain daily to ski. We would absolutely stay here again!

We stayed there with my son and four of his friends; all seniors in high school. The house was big enough for all of us. All the bedrooms were large, clean and quiet. Two bedrooms with queen beds have their own full bathroom. The room with the bunk beds and one bedroom with the queen bedroom share a full bathroom. The kitchen was very practical and well stocked. The combined living room/dining room area was perfect. Heirloom was a great host. Received emails and texts before arriving with very clear instructions. They were very responsive during our stay; responded immediately to our texts and if we needed anything, delivered them in short order.
