Cottage has sunny kitchen w large gas stove and all your needs (but no dishwasher), perfect family room w/fireplace and excellent WI-FI & Roku TV, huge BR w/2 brand new Queen beds, extra large screened porch, gas grill, firepit, kayaks, dock and more! Located about an hour south of ATL and only 2 miles from I-75. Come enjoy and relax in this private lakefront cottage that is only minutes from High Falls State Park and other outdoor attractions.

Great Getaway!

Worth the drive from New Orleans!! We enjoyed the quiet privacy and easy lake access. The host was very kind and accommodating. Would book again!

Much needed vacation

Great place to stay! Bed was comfy, place was clean everything you need is right at your fingertips. Place was set up nice to relax on the lake. The falls were beautiful right down the road. No fish this time but we tried. Terry & Darlene

Excellent house in a perfect location

House is updated and beautiful! Host thought of everything to make this a perfect house. Sits on a VERY quiet and beautiful lake. Kayaks and vest were also provided. Games and books were available. High Falls lake have a 10hp max boat motor. NO JET SKIS so it is SO quiet and easy to kayak.

Definitely a must stay!

The property was beyond my expectations! Everything was amazing the lake cabin was beautiful and so comfortable! Had everything we needed and more! So much to do! The host was very accommodating and went above and beyond expected to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed! I would highly recommend this to anyone wanting a to take a breath and relax! You won’t be sorry!! Thank you so much!!

We loved this place

Our vacation rule is rest and reading, a place to walk (me) and water to enjoy (also me.) We've enjoyed a house in North Carolina for years but this place fit us better (just the two of us) and was so cozy and cute. The kitchen had all we needed with owner supplied spices. Utensils were nice as were the pots and pans. The back porch was lovely. We started every morning there. We also took advantage of the park nature walks. The one surprise was not being able to swim in Jackson Lake though I could paddle board and float near the house dock. Which was adequate! Overall, really lovely home and area. Very relaxing. I highly recommend.

Peacefully rested

This was our second trip here, and my wife and I enjoyed our stay tremendously. Secluded,beautiful and peaceful will definitely be visiting again. Host is very nice and attentive as well they always check in with you via email to make sure everything is great.

Relaxing Stay

My Husband and I really enjoyed our stay here . We loved being out on the porch and looking out onto the lake . The home is very clean and has every thing you need . We sat out on the dock and fished one night and watched the beautiful sunset . The neighborhood is very quiet and we always felt safe . High Falls is beautiful . We would definitely come back , thank you for sharing your home .

Restful

Just exactly what we enjoy. Peaceful, nice porch with great view. (A couple of cushions would be nice) You can wave to pontoon boats and fishermen passing. The kitchen has fantastic furnishings. Bowls with lids, nice pots and pans. Not that we did a lot of cooking, used disposable plates, etc. property is at end of short road, no traffic.got local tv, nice! Comfy bed and furniture.

Wonderful lakeside cabin

This place was great! We stayed in the area to run a trail race and having this little slice of haven to come back to was fantastic. The location is perfect, the porch is a great place to relax, the bed was super comfortable, and the place was stocked with everything you could need. Highly recommended!

Peaceful and relaxing

My wife and I had a great stay, very peaceful I spent a lot of time sitting on the dock enjoying the amazing view. Booked my next stay already. Mark was helpful as well as a genuinely nice person. Can’t wait for our next visit. Nights were so very quiet!

Birthday getaway

Location? Fantastic. Secluded with every amenity. House was updated, clean, and a lot of thought clearly went into hosting for this listing. Everything, I mean everything was clearly labeled. Kitchen was well equipped for us foodies to prepare every meal during our stay. The beds were comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there & immediately talked about returning in the future. We had an incredible stay at Lakeside Haven. The home provided everything we needed and more, with stunning views of the lake that made every moment unforgettable. Absolutely wonderful, relaxing, and perfect stay!

We had an absolutely wonderful time! Our entire stay was fantastic and we were able to relax and enjoy the gorgeous scenery and simply refresh and recharge. The house was clean and comfortable, and the whole area was safe and quiet. The kayaks were an especially nice treat and we enjoyed a few hours paddling around the lake. Everything was truly perfect and we had a wonderful, much-needed time of rest. Before we even left we said we hope to come back again! Thank you!

Mark and Melissa both grew up in the area and have been living in Wilmington, NC, for the past 20+ years. We regularly traveled to Georgia to visit relatives and loved High Falls State Park.

Very quiet and secluded house with an incredible view directly on High Falls Lake. The property also reminds us of our parents who loved to visit this area throughout their lives.

The house may have the best view on the entire Lake. It also seems like your miles away from anyone, but the location is convenient to the Interstate, several smaller towns, and Atlanta if you want to visit the big city.
