Welcome to your Escape at Boulder Bay! A peaceful waterfront gated retreat on Lake Buchanan. Relax and unwind while you enjoy all the best of the Texas Hill Country. Pull up a chair around the fire and witness spectacular lake sunsets or cast a line for some of the best fishing in Texas. Located just off scenic Hwy 29 in Buchanan Dam; the gateway to vineyards, parks, & outdoor activities. Fully fenced dog friendly yard with a hot tub, fire pit, SUP’s, and games.

The space
Wonderful one story lake home with lots of space to spread out. More than a 3/4 acre fenced yard with electric entry gate. Dog friendly! Spacious kitchen and dining.

Primary bedroom has a king size bed with attached bath. Large walk in shower, separate toilet area, oversized closet and a. private door to enclosed patio.

Bedroom 2 has a queen size bed, with built in desk area. Shared bath in hall.

Bedroom 3 has two full size beds along with a twin mattress that can be brought out for extra sleeping.

Main living room has sofa and chairs.

Enclosed back porch with bar area and 2 additional sofas can be opened or left closed for inclement weather.

Back patio with pergola covered dining area, gas grill, and more.

Lower patio with Adirondack chairs and a fire pit for s’mores!

We had a lovely stay. Home was beautiful, well decorated and clean. Beds were comfy. Lake was within walking distance. Fishing was amazing!

Baseball tournament stay

We really enjoyed this home for our weekend of baseball lots of games and fun stuff for the kiddos at the home. Loved the sweet basket of snacks and basket of things for my pup that traveled with us!

Family friendly, plenty to do.

If you need a place on the lake that will fit the whole family and your dog, this is the place. Great care and detail was taken into creating an environment for young kids. The fencing and gate at the water keep your mind at ease. Fish from the dock, explore the lake with the kayaks, float around the water, then hit the hot tub. It’s all there.

Great weekend at the lake

We enjoyed our time at this property on Lake Buchanan. Jessica was very responsive in all communications. We were looking for an enclosed property on the lake to take our dogs with us and this house hit the mark. Property was fully fenced and house was spotless with many seating areas. Although the lake is very low and doesn’t reach the property, it worked out well because the water is a short walk down the lake bed which created a beach area to play with the dogs. We would stay at this location again.

Amazing

Such a cute house, and all everything you needed. The walk to the water wasn’t bad at all. It was very enjoyable and love that it was dog friendly so the pups could enjoy the outside too.

Beautiful Home

House was absolutely beautiful with a large yard and plenty of parking. Host was so kind to leave a goodie basket of snacks. The kitchen was huge and had everything one would need. Would definitely recommend this place for anyone wanting to stay in the hill country.

What a wonderful getaway place by the lake!

We enjoyed our stay so much ! Jessica , our host, had the house well stocked with anything we might have needed to have a carefree stay and small details like a bluetooth speaker , bug repellents are so well appreciated! The beds were so comfortable to sleep on. The outdoor space was so well set up for us to enjoy nature. Bluebonnets were in full bloom ( April) too adding more beauty. Would definitely recommend this place! I will just warn about the bugs for people who cannot stand them at all. Keep the doors closed as much as possible after sunset to prevent bugs from crawling in.

PERFECT GETAWAY!

We had such a great time at this home! The home was so clean on our arrival. They had EVERYTHING we needed for cooking, playing games, great book selections (“How Do Astronauts Scratch An Itch” is hilarious! On my book order list!) and the hosts even left us some tasty treats! I will even go as far as complimenting the type of hand soap they use because now I’m only getting this brand lol (Mrs Meyers). Believe it or not the hot tub even felt great despite the hot weather but late at night when things cooled down it worked out fine and for a morning dip while watching the sunrise too! The deck has such a beautiful view as well! Our dogs loved the freedom to run and play and due to the completely fenced in property we didn’t have worry about them getting into trouble. These hosts will treat you right so give this place a visit. You won’t regret it! We’ll be back! :)

We had the best time, the location, the home, the property was perfect for our family of 6 with 2 dogs. The lake is up and right under the doc, we fished and caught quite a few catfish and saw so many different fish and wild life in the water. We paddle boarded out into the cove during sunset.When one of the boards popped the owner's brought us 2 more, so we could continue our fun!! By far one of the best stays we have done. The owners have literally everything you could need or want. Everyone age 70 to 2 year old had plenty of entertainment! So many personal touches. Highly recommend. Loved this home!!
