Direct Ocean Front - Renovation Complete - EVERYTHING inside is NEW!

Welcome to "Poipu Palms #103". We just finished the process of completing an "extreme" renovation on this condo. This was not just a "redecorating", but a complete tear down and rebuild. (Please forgive the snapshots). We will be posting professional pictures in the coming weeks once we can line up the photographer).

Everything inside this unit is now BRAND NEW! New walls, New floors, New kitchen, New appliances, New Bathrooms, New beds, new furniture, new paint, etc.

The location of this quaint little resort has always been one of the best on the island, but now that everything inside is new, this condo is one of the premier vacation rental properties on the island. Imagine watching a whale breach, or dolphins play right in front of you as you relax and sip a cocktail on the lanai of your very own ocean front condo in sunny Poipu on the south shore of Kauai,. This delightful island home is located in the Poipu Palms Resort, which is a quiet condominium complex with only 12 units and located directly on the ocean front.

If you've previously experienced a stay at one of the large resorts (with their large crowds), you will find this condo to be a very refreshing change of pace. The dramatic views from the condo are just amazing, and we also have an ocean front pool where you can relax and also take in the gorgeous views of the ocean. The location couldn't be better... halfway between (and within a walkable distance to) both of Poipu's main beaches (Shipwreck Beach and Poipu Beach). Also just a stone's throw to restaurants, shopping and the Grand Hyatt Hotel.

If you wish to experience living on the ocean while visiting Kauai, there simply is no better spot.

Great location with incredible ocean view! Perfect for two couples to be together or have separate spaces when wanted. Access to beaches is short drive or long walk. Everything that we needed in the kitchen or the beach was provided. Would highly recommend this property!

We love it when a place matches the pictures and descriptions online. This place exceeds the pics! The Lanai is the highlight for sure. Such a beautiful view. Breeze through the palm trees, waves crashing on the shoreline. Birds lightly chirping. Awesome spot to start the day and finish each day. Chad is a great host. very good at communicating in a timely manner and on top of stuff. We really enjoyed our week and felt at home.

We had a wonderful stay in Poipu and the condo was both cozy and relaxing as well as extraordinarily scenic. The lanai was comfortable and spacious and was perfect for cocktails and gorgeous sunsets. The sound of the ocean, the breezes and the colorful birds were very therapeutic during our stay. The kitchen was well-stocked with all the necessary appliances and utensils for our meals. The newly renovated showers were a blessing after a day at the beach. The location of the unit was ideal for traveling short distances to enjoy the beaches, but also restaurants, such as Keoki's Paradise and Brennecke's. It was also nice to have beach chairs and boogie boards available for use at the beach. Chad was very informative and conscientious in providing directions to the condo and had helpfully labeled the various devices and outlets in the unit to make them easier to use. Thank you for a fabulous stay, and we would definitely stay here again.

We loved this location! Stellar views of the ocean, updated condo, close to Poipu Beach and a short drive to Koloa town! We loved the lanai with a couch, table, and chairs! We ate breakfast our there every day! Lots of birds to watch too!

Poipu Paradise

Really fantastic stay! Beautifully updated condo with million dollar views. Small complex with nice little pool and great deck. Location was superb with the best beaches and restaurants just a few minutes away. Lots of available parking. Condo was stocked with everything we needed and more and the host was very kind. Very clean property. Check-in & out was a breeze. I’m already missing the incredible views from the lanai. Sea turtles swam in front of the property every day. Highly recommend this rental in Poipou!Just a few things to be aware of, although we knew there was no air conditioning when we booked, it was a bit more uncomfortably hot at times than I expected. It was fine most of the time and never too hot to sleep which was good. Because there is no air, everyone’s windows were always open so I would not suggest this place if you are a very light sleeper as the normal sounds from adjacent properties were quite noticeable. The master bedroom was very small, but it had a nice, large closet. These minor things didn’t detract from the overall wonderful stay and I’d book here again because all the positives definitely outweighed these few minor issues.

Picturesque setting... no need to compromise between a place with a pool or oceanfront because this nails both. Units are efficient. 2nd time we have stayed in this building and we would love to come back!

Convenient and comfortable Poipu condo

We stayed here for one week with our adult children. The condo was comfortable, clean and an easy "home base" for our Kauai adventures. It had everything we needed and was walking-distance to several beaches. The best part was the lanai where we sat and watched nature unfold: whales, turtles, dolphins and even a magnificent rainbow!

Incredible ocean views!

We had an excellent stay here. The three biggest perks of the condo are: 1) a great Lanai that overlooks an expansive ocean view consistent with the pictures in the listing; 2) location halfway between Poipu Beach and the Grand Hyatt’s restaurants and amenities; and 3) Poipu Palms is a small property with only 12 units meaning there aren’t a lot of people out in the pool and lounge area between the unit and the ocean which is nice. We spent glorious mornings on the Lanai having coffee and breakfast and watching for whales. Several spectacular evening sunsets out there as well. The condo is well stocked with everything we needed. Beds were comfortable. Shower was great. Beach chairs and supplies at the condo as well which was great. I mentioned the location, and Poipu Beach is probably a 10-15 minute walk down the road in one direction. Great beach where sea turtles seen resting on the beach each day, and Hawaiian monk seal on beach once as well. Going the other direction from the condo, there is a nice trail along the coast that leads to the Grand Hyatt, which is a great spot to go for a nice dinner, massage/spa, or Luau. The condo was great, the VRBO pictures represent what it looks like well, and it was a relaxing base for our Kauai trip.

wonderful stay

Great setting, right up from the ocean, 9 minute walk to Brennecke's Beach. Condo is fairly new and very comfortable. Sitting on the lanai eating breakfast or coffee with the view was awesome. The only downside was you could hear people outside and feel people walking in the condo above.

Beautiful View/Wonderful breezes!

We walked in the condo and my husband said it’s a little stuffy.. Boy was he surprised to realized once the windows were open the breeze was magnificent no air conditioning needed! I can’t say anything bad about our stay in Kauai. The views were great! Turtles, dolphin and we saw whales almost every day. Sitting on the lanai watching the beautiful blue water and waves breaking to lull you to sleep at night. What more can you ask for? Excellent choice to spend 10 days in the tropical paradise of Kauai. The condo was immaculate and all the other reasons I mentioned made this vacation superior over all the others.

Comfortable condo and great location.

The property was clean, and the condo had everything we needed for a 10 day stay. The kitchen was equipped with all the dishes and utensils needed for eating in. The furniture and the beds were comfortable. The deck, bbq, and pool were great, and had a beautiful view of the ocean.Chad, our VRBO host did a great job of taking care of our needs and the cleaning crew did a great job of getting the condo ready for us.

Delightful condo

This condo offered a delightful jumping off point for visiting the southern coast of Kauai. The space was clean and comfortable. The appliances and finishes were all new and very nice. The lanai is lovely and the pool is mere steps away. Chad, the owner, was very responsive and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

Amazing Condo in Poipu

This is a great condo with an amazing view. You can fall asleep to the crashing waves and wake up to coffee on the porch and watch the turtles play in the waves right from the deck. A huge bonus the condo had beach chairs, an umbrella, boogie board, and a cooler. Communication with Chad was very easy and he was very kind in our dealings. You could walk to Poipu and Shipwreck beach. This place is highly recommended by our family. Cheers.

What a View

If you want to wake and go to sleep to views and the sound of the waves this is the best. Woke up every morning to coffee on the lanai, saw turtles and some dolphins. The unite was recently updated and had everything we needed. The kitechen was well equipped and the unit has all the beach stuff you might want. Be aware that the door to the bedroom in the front of the unit has doors but the are louvered, so no sound privacy. Not a problem for us.

Majestic

Aloha, My first reaction when I walked toward the patio door was how the ocean looked so majestic! We loved sitting on the lanai first thing in the morning and as soon as we returned from our day of adventure. The condo was well equipped and well kept. The pictures online accurately depict the condo and having 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms was great. When staying here the birds will wake with the rising sun, the sea turtles will amaze you as they swim and feed below, and watching the kayakers maneuver the sea will amaze you. I even saw a snorkeled make his/her way past the condo complex! We had some rain several days in the morning and where there is rain and sun there will be a rainbow. Seeing the rainbow begin and end over the ocean was remarkable! If you are looking for a great location and a well kept home this is the place for you! Mahalo Donna and Ron
