Lakeside Gated Community, 3 bedrooms, 2 miles from Lake

Our single-level cabin is located in a beautiful gated community in Pinetop-Lakeside, Arizona, voted "Best Cabin Region in the US" by Cabin Life magazine. With 1900 sq ft of living space, 3 bedrooms, and 2 bathrooms. We can accommodate a maximum of 6 people. Our split floor plan features a wood-burning fireplace, 4 TVs, front and back covered patios, many beautiful windows, a 2 car garage, and all the comforts of home including FREE Wi-Fi. Our kitchen is fully equipped and includes more than most rentals (oven, microwave, waffle maker & toaster oven). We also offer a large selection of board games, as well as a shuffleboard table for your enjoyment. Our bedrooms have 1 king bed, 1 queen bed, and we recently replaced the bunk beds with a full-size bed and a separate twin bed.
Within our gated neighborhood, there are walking trails and water features throughout. (Water features are seasonal and run from May-Oct). You'll find our convenient location is centrally located to meet all your needs. We're within minutes of several lakes (Show Low Lake is only a 5-minute drive), hiking trails, geocaching, horseback riding, golf, a shooting range, ATV trails, restaurants, movie theaters, and shopping. Hon-Dah Casino is just 15 minutes away, and for those who love to ski, Sunrise Ski Park is just 34 miles from our cabin.
Please note: Smoking and pets are NOT permitted. / Min rental age is 25. A short-term residential vacation license agreement must be completed for all reservations. Occupants/Guests are limited to those identified within the agreement.

Thanksgiving holiday

The property was very suitable for 2 grandparents and adult granddaughter and spouse. The kitchen is well provisioned with cooking and dining requirements. Very attractive decor without looking untouchable. We will happily revisit.

Amazing combination of location very close to the amenities of Pinetop-Lakeside in a safe, quiet and beautiful custom home neighborhood. We will return very soon. The hosts are very supportive responding almost immediately to all of our queries.

It was such a lovely break from summer heat in the desert, tall tress, afternoon rain showers, cool nights. We are already planning a longer stay next summer. The house was a perfect floor plan. I joke that I want to move in.

Nice house and convenient

The house is lovely, clean, modern and convenient to everything. There IS traffic noise, however, on the back deck (a little less on the front deck). The neighborhood is lovely, as well, with great walking paths along a manmade stream that meanders through the area.

Great Stay!

We really enjoyed visiting this property. The location was close to restaurants and stores. The home was immaculate. The rooms were very spacious and we loved the fully stocked kitchen. You could really prepare a full meal there if you wanted to. We did not use the patio or grill because it was winter time. We loved having a garage space to park in as well. We did accidentally stain a bed linen while we were there and the host was very reasonable to work with to pay for that. We can’t wait to return!

Beautiful forest getaway

This is more than a cabin, it’s set in a beautiful forest, but had full amenities to make our stay very comfortable. The pathways and flowing streams throughout the neighborhood made our daily walks more of a nature walk. Our grandkids loved it. The large picture windows in the living area guaranteed a forest view wherever you sat. The home is well located between Pinetop and Show Low. Immaculate as well. The owner was very responsive every time we had a question. For anyone with serious mobility issues, there are 4 steps to enter, no shower bars and the (very comfortable) king sized bed is extra high, toilets are low. But, it is still a very accommodating home with new flooring and good lighting, recliners and comfy sofas. Linens are all top quality, which we appreciated. The air conditioning and full washer dryer were appreciated, Wifi as well. And yes, we would love to return.

We love our gated community and the central location. We're located just off the AZ-260/White Mountain Blvd, in Lakeside, just past the Show Low border. We can quickly access shopping, dining, hiking trails, golf, and other outdoor activities in Show Low and Pinetop-Lakeside. Show Lake is only 1 mile away.

We are in a gated community and have 4 lakes within 20 minutes. We're also across the street from the Mogollon Rim Trail, an easy 1 mile paved trail with breathtaking views of the Mogollon Rim.
