Located in Sugar Beach Condominiums, unit 001 is a spacious studio that sits directly on the beach. Private balcony with chaise lounge, coffee table,. and chairs. It features a Queen bed, nightside tables and lamps, double dresser with smart TV, three drawer chest, round dining table and chairs. Fully equipped modern kitchen. Granite vanity area leading to the tub/shower bathroom and toilet. Recently refurbished by owner. Free WIFI ("Sugar Beach Hot Spot" no password required). On-site property manager, and direct contact to the owner if required. Total relaxation! Plus, there is an outdoor shower on the way to the beach!!

Fantastic beach

This place is right on a beautiful beach and we really enjoyed the deck that looks right out onto the beach and across to Buck Island.

My Awesome Stay in Sugar Beach, St Croix

This was an awesome place to stay on Sugar Beach! It was super clean and had everything I needed. The beach was right outside my room and just a short walk to warm water and sunny skies. Access to all areas was easy and convenient. The pool area was very nice as well. The room was comfortable and the bed was comfortable also.

Winter getaway

Our end unit was well equipped everything was clean and neat. Location and oceanfront beach were prefect . The property manager was most helpful and found beach chairs to use during our stay ! I would definitely recommend this property.

Loving the Island Life

The studio apartment was just perfect. We had everything we needed yo enjoy our stay. We loved the beach and beautiful views. The pool was perfect for the extra windy days. Loved the location. Just a couple of minute drive to Christiansted.

Beautiful ocean view

The view is incredible! Turquoise blue ocean water ! Sugar beach is right there ! Condo is a studio and small but was fine (good size refrigerator, stove and microwave). It is as pictures show. Owner was excellent to work with and respond if you had any questions or concerns (daughter lives in condos and was also very helpful)! Nice location on the island

We stayed here for a week and couldn't be more delighted. Steve was incredibly responsive to our questions. The condo has a lovely view of the water and is close to Christiansted without being right in the hustle and bustle. The beach in front of the condo is one of the nicest ones in the area and the pool is perfect. The condo included basic things like a few spices, coffee filters, etc., making it truly seem like a home away from home.

Private beach front location was excellent! Loved the balcony facing the beach. Sliding glass door was very hard to open, but owner told me that she was making arrangements to get it fixed. The owner was friendly and communicated directly with us at the condo. The condo was a nice efficiency that met our needs, but the mattress on the bed was a bit worn and sagged in the middle. We enjoyed our stay very much!

Roomy and More Private

From first walking in we were delightfully surprised with the high ceiling which added to the larger than expected space. As it is the last unit on the end with no one above or below gave a feeling of privacy. Bed, comfy. Kitchen, adequate. Deck, large. The pool in this complex is very well maintained and a great place to hang out and read a book. Steve was very responsive with any questions. We did walk to Food Town (less than a mile), but wanted to explore the island so ultimately rented a car. The beach was maintained daily. It was probably the time of year, but the beach was very windy during our stay. Being centrally located on the island, it is easy to explore all sides of the island. This unit is a very good value for money in our opinion.

Amazing getaway!!

A beautiful secluded studio apartment. The unit is surprisingly private for being a condo. Beautiful grounds, everything you need for relaxing just feet way. The clubhouse and pool area is breathtaking, built around a ruined sugar mill. The location of the unit is just a 5 min drive to downtown Christiansted and boardwalk/restaurants. Day trips to equally beautiful beaches and historical grounds on the island are super fun too. I've become quite the photographer with Buck island sunrises everyday. I wish I could snorkel in Philly! Go Birds!! I'll definitely be returning to Sugar Beach!!

Perfect place!!!

Very easy to find!! Wonderful studio condo perfect for two people!!! Close to town and Taxi's are easy to get if you need one! (Call Prince Taxi service) If you get a car you are close to tons of things. Minutes to the boardwalk and literally one minute away from a small grocery store if you want to eat meal in the room. Kitchen is small but worked for us just fine. Bathroom and shower are a little dated but dang, it's not about being the most modern design. The bathroom worked great for us and had everything we needed. The balcony was our hangout!!! The view is just like the picture!! Simply gorgeous!!! I highly recommend staying here and I hope to be back soon!! The price is very fair and worth the investment!!

Best Trip Yet

Great location. Out of town but close enough to all the beaches , restaurants and fun activities the island has to offer. Also very close to the grocery store and multiple gas stations. Very safe. Loved being able to just sit on the porch or leave the porch door open while cooking or laying in bed and listen to the waves.Super awesome having 24hr. access to a beautiful beach and the ocean just a few steps outside of the apartment door. I love to take late night / early morning walks by myself and with the beach having a gated access I felt safe going out on the property at anytime I wanted to. This is my 5th trip here and I’ve always stayed at a hotel down near the boardwalk which is fun but can get a bit loud and rowdy. So I decided to go for a different vibe this time and I’m so glad I did. It was so peaceful and quiet and the beach was never to crowded. Definitely my most enjoyable time here so far. Another plus is that the pool and Landry room do not close and are always available to use. Also loved that my rental was at the very end of the resort and kinda separate from the other apartments which made it feel a little more private. I will for sure be looking into staying here on my next trip down and would highly recommend it to anyone else coming to visit the island.

Most relaxing two weeks on the Island

We booked this condo because it was just the right size for my wife and I to stay in.We also liked that the unit was on the end of a row of condos and we had no upstairs or downstairs neighbors. Very private for us.Our host was most accommodating and always answered questions in a quick and timely fashion. As this was our first time to the island, it was nice to be able to ask questions beforehand. We learned where to go, what to do and where to purchase items.When we arrived, our host stopped by and asked if we needed anything. She was a wealth of info about the island.If I had to pick one negative, it would be about St. Croix and not the condo. St. Croix is POTHOLE city and it is not the people's fault. We learned right away that local government needs to step up to the plate and fix some things. The residents of St. Croix are great and super friendly and take great pride in their Island. The local government needs to join them in instigating programs to keep the Island clean and seek out more renewable energy options. It is funny that the really nice and maintained buildings were always government buildings. Offer programs for folks to help maintain their local properties and businesses.I took my wife here for her retirement gift. It was a gift we both loved and look forward to visiting the island again soon.

Steve served as General Manager of Sugar Beach Condos for 7.5 years. After he retired, he and Diane continued to live on the property, and Diane was elected to the board of directors where she served for 6 years. Obviously, they are intimately familiar with the Property and the Island of St. Croix. Although they now live in North Carolina, they have retained the services of their daughter Denise Henderson (who now lives on-property) to attend to the needs of their guests.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

The location of unit 001, directly on the west end of the complex gives it a unique sense of privacy which people find charming. This, combined with the unusual layout, seems to give 001 a "honneymoon suite" vibe.
