Private Woodland Cottage Near Beaches and Shopping

Centrally located just minutes from York Beach, Downtown Portsmouth NH the Kittery Outlets and Foreside, "The Woodland" in Kittery Maine offers a relaxing retreat after a long day exploring all that the Seacoast of Southern ME and NH have to offer. Guests enjoy the privacy of a separate guest house on the property complete with a full kitchen, bathroom, and single bedroom. Outside the property is a small pond, which deer, turkeys and ducks can be seen at all times of day.
The space
Entering in through the front door, you walk into a living room with custom wallpaper, a pull out couch that converts into a twin bed, and two lounge chairs for relaxing and spending some downtime on your vacation. Moving into the house you will find the bathroom on your right that has a full shower and updated toilet and vanity. Next you will find the cathedral ceiling kitchen with dining space that overlooks the pond and woodland on the property. Keep an eye out in the mornings and evening for wildlife! Finally there is a single bedroom with a queen bed, closet, and dresser.

Great location for all our plans while in the Kittery area. Woodland Cottage was very cute and clean. Nice quiet area. Cam was very quick to respond to any questions. Would highly recommend for anyone staying in the Kittery area.

The cottage was super clean. The photos in the listing accurately portray the rooms. Location is great, right between Portsmouth and Ogunquit. The check-in and check-out process was very easy. Highly recommend.

Great place near Salem!

This was a modern vrbo that was nicely decorated. We had an issue during our stay, but the host was extremely apologetic and made it right immediately and that is good customer service.

Great Weekend Getaway!

Just a quick getaway before the holidays, perfect spot to unwind and do some Christmas shopping. Hosts made it easy. Great welcome booklet with suggestions for local food and drink. Reasonably priced. Wonderful, clean, quiet space. Would definitely stay here again. Cheers!

Exactly as advertised!

Everything was clean and as advertised. No surprises except for lovely personal touches in the welcome book and notes about specifics of the property. Great communication and service from the hosts! Very quiet and friendly atmosphere.

Nice rustic cabin in ME

The property is fine, with dedicated parking out front. There was good communications with the owner. The living area and kitchen are a little dated, but functional. Good instruction booklet to explain the operation of heater, water, etc. The bathroom is smaller but functional, the shower is tiny - not sure what you could do about that challenge. A couple of negatives - I’m a light sleeper and there is some road noise from the highway and the tv only allows viewing of pay subscriptions you are already subscribed to. Solid spot for a stay.
