Upon entering the Hydrangea House the bright colors and rock fireplace offer a cozy space for playing games or just relaxing with your family. The kitchen is well stocked for preparing a meal and has a drip coffee maker. There is a small, stackable washer/dryer in the home as well. The front porch is a comfy space, equipped with ceiling fans, for your enjoyment. There is a screened back porch as well as a charcoal grill (charcoal provided). This property offers walk in access to the river where you'll find a gazebo for enjoying the peaceful flow of the river. There are also snacks provided as well as a scavenger hunt for the kids!

Best place to rent from !

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Melissa , was wonderful and very very helpful. I had trouble getting the lock to work and she came right over and help us . Such a nice lady . The rental company needs to hold on to her. We were there for my sister in law memorial. It was perfect location my brother lives right behind our rental . The house is just beautiful. Loved the layout. And the walk to the river was so nice . Will for sure rent it again.

Good spot for river access

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The stay was generally cozy and a great location for fishing the river as well as close to food, gas, and downtown Heber. The house was roomy and the appliances all worked well. We did have issues with insects, particularly an abundance of flies when we checked in and a wasp in the upstairs bedroom. We also inquired about a late check out but could not get a response from the host.

Hydrangea House

So cozy and convenient! Four adults stayed here without any crowding issues. Updated and beautifully appointed property. Would definitely stay there again.

Wonderful Stay

Excellent home in gorgeous location right next to one of the best trout streams in the country. Management was super communicative and helpful, and even left us welcoming treats and a scavenger hunt for the kids. Thanks for everything, including the thoughtful giant solar eclipse cookie!

Excellent property for family

Had little issue and called host. Responded within 5 min and took care of our little issue. Great place and would highly recommend it for families. Had everything you could want.

Great location, walking distance to the river. Clean with nice amenities. Decor could use some updating. Request to manager was answered promptly.

Well-stocked, clean, and comfortable

The house is stocked well with kitchen and bathroom supplies. There was even a plethora of snacks to welcome us and make us feel at home. It's perfectly clean and easy to check into. The king-size bed mattress on the main floor is firm. Two bedrooms are upstairs with queen-size beds, one of which is soft and the other is medium.

My Stay

Nice property. Was hoping for a DVD player to watch movies but was thankful for Freevee TV. Coffee maker needs replacing. Had trouble entering on first night but was quickly resolved. Otherwise, Great! Very Quiet!

Do Not Waste Your Money

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I rented the Hydrangea House in Heber Springs, Thursday through Monday morning. The total cost was $874.89. Upon arrival we unloaded the food we had brought, putting some into the frig and other items onto kitchen shelves. By 9:00 Thursday night we realized there was an ant problem. We sprayed the shelves and counters with Ant Spray we found under the sink. When my daughter used the toaster the next morning the bread immediately became swarmed with ants. We lost many food item removing them to the outside dumpster. I contacted Melanie Butts who I reserved through. She obviously sent the complaint to Hannah Hill Galloway from Arkansas Vacation Rentals who sent an email apologizing and stated she would “try” to send pest control. We went ahead to the lake. When we returned from the lake no pest control person had come. We began throwing away trash and when we opened the kitchen trash can it was full of ants. Ants were crawling everywhere. They were crawling on the outside of the refrigerator, all over the cabinets and on the floor. I immediately contacted Hanna Hill Galloway to inquire about pest control and report the ants were everywhere. Her response was, “I’m sorry you’re having to throw out the trash!” She also said the pest control person would be here before 4:00. Once the pest control man came he found ants were coming from the floor, the ceiling, and completely covered the entire kitchen. It was a nasty mess. We were unable to use the kitchen due to the ants and the enormous amount of bug spray! It was disgusting. On top of the extreme ant problem on Saturday the outside sprinkler system apparently broke and flooded the front yard! My son-in-law had to shut the outside water off! I would not recommend renting the Hydrangea House in Heber Springs. The problems truly were abundant and Hannah Hill Galloway was very sarcastic. I am demanding a refund. Don’t waste your money on the Hydrangea House.

End of summer trip

An hour after we checked out I got a text saying the cleaning crew found items we had left, including my wife’s Apple Watch. They graciously agreed to mail the items to us. — Can’t ask for anything more!
