Recently renovated and full of charm, this quaint 2-bedroom, 1-bath apartment is nestled on a quiet street in Salem, NH. Perfect for up to 4 guests, the home features 2 queen beds. Relax in the cozy living room or cook a meal in the subway-tiled kitchen. Conveniently located just minutes from Rt 28, Canobie Lake Park, Tuscan Village, and MGH, and only 35-40 minutes to Boston and 40 minutes to Salem, MA. Ample on-site parking is available, and pets are welcome for a $100 fee.
The Tuscan Village is just a 2-minute drive away, while nearby Rail Trails and hiking spots provide outdoor adventure. The train station to Boston is only 5 minutes away, and Rt 93 offers easy access to Boston, Manchester, and the mountains. Please note, the 2nd-floor bedrooms may not be ideal for elderly guests or young children.

Washer and Dryer area are shared with one other townhome.
We would like to disclose that there are 2 exterior cameras installed on the outside, street facing, doors. These cameras are in place to provide an additional layer of security for our guests. The cameras record both video and sound, but only in the exterior areas of the property.
The footage from these cameras will only be used for security purposes or in the event of an incident. There are no cameras inside the property.

Was in a very convenient spot. Near the highway as well as a mall and lots of dining options. Great place to stay if you’re going to Boston or anywhere near Salem New Hampshire

So my issues were all the bugs. We had to buy bug spray due to all of the spiders. My husband was bit by something on day 2 and that’s when we got bug spray. Also under amenities the listing says 1.5 bathrooms and 1 bathroom. This is deceiving. I don’t feel you intentionally did this but it is something I was looking at when booking. Also some really dark curtains in the bedroom would be nice as the light was very bright even with the blinds. A latch on attic door would be great as it would open every time front door was opened and closed and the deal about that is the heat it would let into the house. Beds were most comfortable I’ve slept in for awhile.It would also have been nice to know the washer and dryer were communal.Hosts were prompt to get us a fan when we got to rental and it was so hot. When I asked for bug spray, host did try to provide some but it was “off” for personal use and not bug spray for the house. Let me be clear it was very clean and NO roaches, it was just numerous spiders.Also one bedroom had a skylight and no blinds but host was super nice and got blinds installed after our first morning up with sunrise. Also no dishwasher but I don’t think that was advertised any way.

Reasons I would not return

The description and pictures of the property are deceiving. Every room had a large transition in the floor either up or down. We tripped several times till we got used to it. There was no bedding for the pull out couch (pillows, sheets, blankets). There were no washcloths and coffee pot was dirty. The porch that it showed in the advertisement had patio furniture with an umbrella that was off to the side of the house with no umbrella. Also, it did not state the home was between at least three separate rentals. We went back to the home only to sleep each day. It was a family or friends out on the deck furniture I’m assuming they put up there themselves right outside of our door. On a positive note, the beds were comfortable. There were plenty of towels and storage in bedrooms. It was equipped with a hairdryer, iron, air fryer, coffee, pot, toaster, and all cookware plates, cups, etc.. I did send a message immediately to the property owner of I believe with my concerns and they did drop off sheets for the pullout, no blanket or pillows and only 4 wash cloths. There was no detergent in the laundry area so we had to use hand towels for washing after the four were used the first day. They did get back to me immediately with my concern and appreciated me reaching out as they said they had a new cleaning crew and was grateful for the input.
