Peaceful and Accommodating

Our family had an absolute blast at this home on Lake Martin. The kids enjoyed the bunks and the deck was a slice of heaven each morning watching the sunrise. I highly recommend booking this home at your next stay at Lake Martin. We cannot wait to return.

Great family weekend

The house was perfect and spacious enough for 4 families with kids. Kitchen was well stocked. Easy water access. Owner was responsive to any issues we had. Would recommend!

Extended Family getaway

This was the perfect setting for our kids and grandkids. Dock and cove area were the highlight for our grandkids. Very private and protected. Easy to rent boat and keep at dock.

Amazing Property

Our stay at Rod’s place was absolutely amazing! The house is beautiful—spacious, comfortable, and perfect for a family gathering. Everything was thoughtfully decorated and made us feel right at home. One of the most special moments of our trip was celebrating our son’s engagement—he proposed that weekend and we couldn't have asked for a more stunning and peaceful setting to mark the occasion. We made so many wonderful memories here and would love to return again. Thank you for sharing yourbeautiful home with us!

The best place we have stayed on Lake Martin

The house was great, the view was beautiful and the trip was wonderful. I have to give them credit for having an amazing vacation home but selfishly I want to make sure it’s available for us next year and I don’t have to fight to get this location again.

Great Football Weekend!

This is the second time we stayed at this house and we all had a great time ! It is spacious and laid out nicely for a larger group. The host was very accommodating to make sure that the house was stocked with items that made it easier for us since we all flew in which we really appreciated . Rent this house , you will not be disappointed!!

This property and location is amazing. We loved the view from the porch! It was central to Chucks, the cliffs, all the fun!There are 3 beds, 2 rooms and 2 baths on the upper floor and a fridge. The main level has a very spacious kitchen, a pantry with a fridge, a large laundry, dining room, living room and a king suite plus a queen suite. I might would recommend 2 more chairs for the dining table. We had 8 adults and ended up pulling 2 chairs from the porch to use. The lower level has an open bunkroom and a king suite plus a half bath. It is a little loud on the lower level because the floors are cement but it looked like that may still be a work in progess. Overall the property is wonderful and I would recommend it to anyone! Enjoy!

A Perfect Week

This is my family’s 7th year to stay at Lake Martin and so far this house is my favorite! We had 10 adults and 5 children (from age 87 to 2 😄) and we had plenty of room. Each family had their own bedroom and bathroom and plenty of beds to sleep everyone. Host was very prompt in responding to any questions or concerns. The location is what I loved the most-we could sit on the back porch and watch the kids tube and ski. We definitely want to stay here again!

Summer Lake Trip

Great property, have to park boat trailer at the top of the driveway in the grass. If you have two boat trailers one will have to be parked in the street. Other than that everything was great!

Great property

We rented Rod's Place for a week with family. First, the owner was VERY responsive to my multiple questions leading up to and during our stay. The house has a great layout with plenty of sleeping options for our group, ranging from 9 to 81. The kitchen is open, and the large table was a great gathering spot. Although not shown in the listing, the house has 3 refrigerators, which is great because we like to cook on our trips. The house faces east, so the yard and dock were shaded in the afternoon. This was great and allowed us to enjoy the afternoon without being cooked by the sun. The dock has two boat slips that we were able to use for our boats. Other properties we have rented have had either a boat lift or the owner's boats in the slips, which is problematic when you bring your boat. By water, the house is convenient to several popular spots, and is only a 20 minute car ride to Lake Martin Pizza and 30 minutes to Willow Point Golf Course.
