Very comfortable and large space. Very clean. The guards at the front gate were also very helpful. We used the pool which was nice to cool off. Great temperature both in the pool and in the ocean. The beachfront is minimal though. The sargassum is an ongoing issue along the coast, so make sure to choose your location wisely. We were able to go up to our knees and the water was clear, but the sargassum was alot. I did walk along the beach all the way to the resorts. I guess they pay people to clear sections off for each area. The location is a quick uber ride to the center of the city and to the grocery stores. We had nice restaurants and convenient stores nearby we walked to. There were also nearby money exchangers. It was a great space for us.

Hello Margarita Thank you very much for your detailed review and for highlighting the comfort of the house, the cleanliness, the pool, our helpful security staff, and the convenient location. We would also like to add some context regarding the sargassum situation. Unfortunately, severe sargassum arrivals have affected the entire state of Quintana Roo, including Cancun, Playa del Carmen, and Tulum, which are among the most visited tourist destinations in Mexico. This is a regional environmental phenomenon that impacts virtually all beaches along the Caribbean coast. We do clean the beach area regularly; however, unlike the large resorts, we are subject to stricter government regulations. The beach in front of our property is a public beach and is not a concessioned beach managed by a hotel, which limits the methods and equipment that can be used for cleanup. Many resorts operate on concessioned beachfront areas and therefore have different resources and permissions available to them. Even so, we continuously do our best to keep the area as clean and enjoyable as possible for our guests. As you mentioned, despite the presence of sargassum, the water remained clear and enjoyable. This is a beautiful house! There was a lot of room for everyone to be comfortable. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook for 12 people. The hot water was sometimes lacking. We never got hot water in the room on the lower level. The beach was terrible because of the sargassum problem right now. We adjusted our week to include 2 days of Xcaret and 2 days of Isla to make up for it. We also enjoyed the pool and tennis courts. The beds are very firm so be prepared for that. You will leave a 100 deposit for going over the allowed amount of electricity. We were happy to do that so we could be cool! AC worked great. You are provided with one big jug of water and some toilet paper. We just bought more when we bought groceries. We Ubered and did Uber Eats sometimes. Walmart was very close. We had a little trouble with the WiFi but Daniel was quick to help us resolve it. Washer and dryer worked great. We had so much fun at that huge table playing games every night! I would certainly stay here again!

We are delighted to hear that you enjoyed the house, the spacious layout, the pool, the tennis courts, and the time spent together with friends around the large dining table. We are truly sorry about the sargassum during your stay. Unfortunately, this is a natural phenomenon that is beyond our control. Although the beaches are cleaned continuously and the collected seaweed is removed daily, there are days when ocean currents bring in larger amounts than usual, making it difficult for cleaning efforts to keep up. Some days there is more sargassum, while on others there is very little or none at all. Regarding the hot water, all bathrooms are equipped with hot water and normally function without any issues. However, with a group of 12 guests, when several people are showering at the same time, the available hot water may be temporarily reduced in some bathrooms, which is common in most residential properties. Thank you again for staying with us. We are very happy to know that, despite these challenges, you had a wonderful vacation and would consider staying with us again in the future. Great space for large parties, master bath didn’t have hot water the entire weekend but other bathrooms did (owner said it was fixed but wasn’t), mattresses are not comfortable at all, furniture has Alot of wear and tear but other than that everything was pretty good it served its purpose for my Bach trip! Everyone was able to get their own bed and didn’t feel cramp.

Hello Hallie. Thank you very much for your comment. As I mentioned in my message, all the bathrooms have hot water. The master bathroom upstairs is next to another bedroom with its own bathroom, and you told me that one did have hot water. Our maintenance staff confirmed you that the master bathroom also had hot water. However, since there were 12 people, if everyone showers at the same time in the other bathrooms, you need to wait a few minutes for the water heaters to reheat. Regarding the furniture and mattresses, I find it a bit surprising that you mention that, as they were replaced just two years ago and I don’t consider them old. In fact, none of the previous guests have ever mentioned anything similar. I believe your opinion might not fully reflect the reality, but of course, I respect it.

Great home for our large group of 11. Security guards we’re so helpful throughout in directing us and providing recommendations. Nemesio is top tier! Felt safe and at home. Highly recommend and will definitely come back. Kids loves that GoMart was less than a 4 min walk! Beach and pool easily accessible. Too bad there was too much sargassum or we would’ve enjoyed the beach more. Thank you Daniel for the opportunity to use your amazing home.

HOME AWAY FROM THE TOURISTS

Cancun did not disappoint for our annual birthday trip this year! Daniel's home was perfect for our group - everyone had their own space and the living area of the home is so wide open and bright it made our time spent in the home that much more enjoyable! House is very convenient for the bus route to and from the hotel zone and into town. And just 3 min walk from a convenience store so that was handy! Security guards were so nice and super friendly. House was very clean, and modern. Daniel was extremely attentive and prompt with our needs and Marianne was a life saver helping us plan and book all activities and airport transport- she was a huge help to us. Make sure you let her help you plan !

We have been accompanying our adult daughter to Cancun for dental procedures, so have become very familiar with the Hotel Zone. Daniel’s villa is located in a gated residential community with most occupants being full-time owners. We met one Gentleman who had lived there 35 years. After staying in a more commercial area on our last trip, this was a piece of heaven. Daniel’s villa is so spacious,and well.furnished. Could not have been any cleaner. There are steps, so keep that in mind. Daniel has several rentals in Cancun and manages as a true business. The pride and professionalism is top notch. If I had to make a suggestion it would be mattresses that weren’t quite as firm. Other than that, the Villa is wonderful and we would not hesitate to book again.

Beautiful home away from home!

Villa Na Ha was exactly as pictured! It was very spacious for our family of 14. We loved everything in the house down to the setup. It was well equipped with everything we needed. The property was gated and felt very safe. The pool was massive and clean and most of the time it was just us using it. The beach is only a couple of feet away but unfortunately it was not swimmable due to the seaweed. We eneded up walking at least 15 minutes down near playa tortugas to a nice little beach or taking a bus/ferry to different beaches. It wasn't too bad for us because we were almost expecting that outcome since it was seaweed season and we wanted to visit other locations. The villa was close to bus stops and a little convenience store which was great for when we needed more snacks and drinks. If and when my family and I come back this would be our first choice! Beautiful home!

This Villa is absolutely gorgeous! Decorated beautifully. Daniel has great hospitality and the security guards were very nice and helpful. The house was big enough for our party. Having a smart TV in the living room was great. The kitchen was well equipped. It was very clean when we arrived! We were excited to be close to the beach however, since we traveled during seaweed season, we were unable to swim there. The busses come by very often and it takes you up and down the strip for twelve pesos per person. A little more cost effective than ubering (which there is apparently a big dispute with Uber and taxis- but fyi taxis are double what Uber charges). We ended up finding a beach down the road that was perfect to swim in. Be prepared for your electric deposit per the contract. The split AC units might be a little difficult to figure out since we thought we turned them off but when we’d come back home, they would be on. Either way, they worked great and kept us nice and comfortable. We are so grateful to have found Daniel’s Macarena Residence! We would definitely stay here again.

Agradable

La casa es una excelente propiedad, concuerda con las fotografías. Muy amplia, cómoda, climatizada. Encontramos algunas areas de oportunidad en la zona de alberca, falta mobiliario como camastros y sillas. La playa no está para meterse, es un muelle y tendrás que trasladarte a otras playas para disfrutar el delicioso mar de Cancún. Está bien úbicada, retirada de la zona de mucho ruido. El camión pasa muy cerca y cualquier uber puede trasladarte. A poca distancia se encuentra un go mart bien surtido. Daniel atendió mis mensajes en tiempo, amable.

Hola Janeth Muchas gracias por tus comentarios, pero quisiera hacer algunas acalaraciones con lo que mencionas. En la alberca siempre hay camastros habia 2 en esos momentos solamente porque se mandaron comprar nuevos y aun no los habian entregado, lamento que justo de todo en ese momento. La playa no es un muelle publico ni embarcadero, es privado del condominio de las pocas embaraciones que hay en total 3, y no aecta en abosluto el uso de la playa. La playa no es como tu dices, se puede meter perfectamente bien, el tema es el sargazo que aveces recala en distintas playas de Cancun, nosotros limpiamos las playas y tambien en lo que podemos dentro del agua, como lo hacen en todos lados de las playas de Cancun, asi sean hoteles o playas publicas. My experience was good everything was in place for my family for convenience. The master toilet need fixing but overall great experience.
