You will stay in a completely updated 6 bed 2 bath 2500SF apartment that will wow you with the amenities and proximity to state parks, golf courses, wineries and surrounded by the Wildlife Sarafi Park w/views of the Elk during the day and sounds of Elk bugling and the wolves howling at night. If you’re traveling with your horses, we have an outdoor arena for your use. 1 mile to Quarry Oaks Golf Course, 2 miles to Iron Horse Golf Course, Ashland Golf Club and Country Drive- with live music on the weekends and 12 miles to the Lost Rail. Wineries nearby are Glacial Till, Soaring Wings and Cellar 426 - live music on summer weekends. Nearby Parks: Wildlife Safari Park - a part of the Henry Doorly Zoo, SAC Museum, Mahoney State Park, Platte River State Park, Schram State Park, Louisville Lakes, Memphis State Rec Area, Two Rivers State Park. Have fun exploring all day then back to our private oasis for a firepit, grill out, enjoy the bright stars and listen to the wildlife.

Enjoyable family stay

Very clean and comfortable, location was great for visiting Mahoney State Park as well as the Omaha Zoo. We were able to cook in every night for dinner and enjoyed the back porch a lot. We did see some elk from the wildlife safari park from the back porch the first night, too, which was fun.

Great property! Furnished with many amenities and very comfortable. We even saw the elk herd since we are so close to the safari park! The two full bathrooms were wonderful to have. Would definitely recommend!

College Reunion Weekend

Stayed here with 6 college friends for a 10 year reunion. We enjoyed Downtown Ashland and it was a great place to relax for the weekend! Clean and responsive hosts for questions we had!

Great Cabin close to family fun activities

This cabin was great! Beautiful cabin tucked away with a view of the Elk at the safari park. We enjoyed trips to Platte River State Park, plenty of outdoor walks/fun and cooking at the cabin. It is well stocked and beautifully decorated.

Family Getaway

Amazing view! Has a well appointed kitchen, very clean bathrooms, and plenty of space for our extended family. Super close to the Safari, the SAC museum and 2 state parks. We had a great weekend.

Girls weekend away

It was a very nice place. Much larger than we thought. The shouse was right next to the Safari which was very cool. We enjoyed the fire pit at night and had a Great overall stay.

Relax

Great place to sit back relax and enjoy. Plenty of stocked items to cookout on the grill and enjoy the peace and quiet. Plenty of seating and fire pit on patio with bags and plenty of room for more games. Host was very prompt, friendly and helpful.

Wonderful time!

Thank you so much for a lovely time! Coloring, Playing with sidewalk chalk, Perfect weather, Stargazing with our telescope, watching Annie on the giant TV, playing games, going for walks and identifying animal tracks, spotting turkeys, elk, kitties, baby birds and momma birds, playing in water, bean bags, grilling out, etc. Such a wonderful time!

Great Location

We really enjoyed our stay. Beautiful property inside. Nice 1 level where you can be together in a wide open space. Comfy bed in the master. Well stocked. Great location! Close to many things to do. Good communication with owner. Only reason for 4 stars is that the water heater did not serve a 12 person property. Only 2 people were able to take average length showers before it went cold. Kind of a big deal when we stayed 2 days. But, if the water heater was fixed, we’d absolutely come back because we had a great time!

My friends and I stayed at this property for a girls weekend and loved it!! Two of my friends who are great cooks both commented on how well-stocked this kitchen was with all of the needed pots, pans, and utensils. The hosts were very kind and flexible and responded to all of our requests very quickly. The beds were comfortable, the space was very clean, and the location is perfect! You're close to Ashland and Omaha but also get the benefit of a quiet, countryside stay. The back deck was perfect to sit on to watch the sunrise or in the evenings when the weather cooled down. We really enjoyed staying here and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a place to stay in Ashland!
