Our charming 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom home is the perfect retreat for families or groups of up to 8 guests. Nestled in a country setting, our property offers access to several nearby lakes, including our very own Big Guernsey and Little Guernsey, great for fishing and kayaking.

Take a stroll through the famous Yankee Springs recreational area and enjoy the local wildlife or relax in the outdoor sitting area and firepit.
We provide 4 kayaks and 1 canoe for guests to explore the lake.
Inside, our farmhouse is tastefully decorated to create a cozy and welcoming atmosphere.
Whether you're looking for a peaceful getaway or an outdoor adventure, our farmhouse is the perfect place to escape. Book now and experience the beauty of Michigan's countryside."

While our home is not directly on the water, it is a short 10 min walk or 5 min drive to the lake.
We have a private dock where our guest may fish off from and use the kayaks. We also have a designated swimming area, where you can swim and enjoy the lake.

We enjoyed our visit to the homestead this past week. The homestead was warm and welcoming, we felt at home right away. Anything we needed was easily found. My husband and his friend went kayaking each evening and really enjoyed them selves. I did wish I had brought a couple beach or folding chairs so my girlfriend and I could have sat down by the lake or beach. Thank you again for sharing your home with us we enjoyed our stay very much! Excellent 2025 vacation.

Excellent!

We enjoyed our stay at the Homestead. The farm house was very cute & clean. We loved the cookies that Kim left for us! The duck hunt was fun. We loved hanging out on the porch & by the fire pit. The only tricky thing was not having a bathroom upstairs. Other than that, our weekend was very enjoyable. Our Scottie, Maggie also seemed to enjoy staying there!

Overflow of family get together

We stayed here so that visiting family could use our house on Long Lake. It was nice to have a quiet place for the grandchildren to nap during the day. We appreciated that there was a high chair available. Since we spent the days at our other house, we didn't get a chance to enjoy the backyard which looked to be very comfortable. The host, Kim, communicated everything we needed to know about the property and promptly answered any questions. We would not hesitate to stay there again.

Pictures do not do this place justice!

This place is beautiful and Kim is a wonderful host. Directions for check in were easy and we were greeted with welcome cookies and a fun game to get comfortable with the house. It worked. It didnt feel like a home we'd rented, it felt like a family member had offered her home while i visited the area for a family reunion. We will definitely be back next year!

Our property manager was excellent - the farmhouse was cozy and very quaint. we sat on the rocking chairs on the porch and enjoyed all the sounds of nature.very enjoyable stay.

Cozy farmhouse

We absolutely loved our stay at this cozy farm house. The house feels like a home away from home thanks to all their little details. We had some bad weather and it was easy to contact the host to keep them updated. My son loved all the little touches around the house . He is 8 and all the things they include kept him sooo busy. Definitely will want to stay here again in a heart beat.

We had a good time

The house is roomy and comfortable. We used the kitchen every day and it worked out. It was a good location for visiting the Gilmore museum and the Air Zoo, and Delton is convenient and has good services.

Lake Get-away

Enjoy a relaxing and fun get-away at The Cozy Farmhouse with multi-Lakes to choose from, watercraft options, delicious local food options, and many attractions. The cozy farmhouse was very comfortable for sleeping, nicely decorated in various room styles, had lots of family games, a great fire pit/deck area for our outdoor entertainment, and housed our family with ease.

Short trip with friends

The host and hostess were amazing,making sure everything we needed was taken care of. Including great restaurants and entertainment in the area. We were able to enjoy the deck and the fire pit area, which was very relaxing. We also were able to utilize the lake which was only a two minute drive or about a five minute walk. Definitely recommend this property.

Family vacation

This is a nice home with lots of room inside and outside for many activities. The close proximity to the lake made it easy to go and use the kayaks and have an awesome time. The host is very good with any communication needed.
