Great place for a family getaway. The house was perfect for our family of 5. We fished, kayaked, and relaxed every night by the fire watching the moon rise. Very peaceful and relaxing environment. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. We would definitely book again!

Perfect lake side retreat

We had a great long weekend at this cozy Honeoye home. Recently renovated, clean, friendly neighbors, beautiful views, great fishing and boating, really everything you may be looking for. I would recommend this property to anyone.

Beautiful getaway!

Beautiful property! Easy access. Nicely decorated and fully stocked with amenities. However, due to the awkward layout, we would have been much more comfortable with privacy window treatments in the front porch area. Also, the shower floor is EXTREMELY slippery. We would definitely rent again. Hopefully with those 2 issues addressed. Thank you so much for sharing your lovely cottage with us!

Repeat visitors

We enjoyed our stay in June so much that we came back again in August. The cottage is newly renovated, pleasant, clean and comfortable. Molly and Dan provided everything that a guest might need. The lake is steps away from the door, my son loved his time paddleboarding and kayaking. My favorite part of the day was morning coffee on the patio, enjoying the lake. We hope to visit again soon!

Great cottage!

We had a great long weekend at the cozy lake cottage! My kids were able to fish right from the dock and catch some small fish. We all enjoyed kayaking too. We will be back!

Great Family Vacation

We brought our three tween/teenage daughters to the property for a week and had an amazing stay. The house is so nice, one of the nicest properties we’ve ever rented! We rented a boat for the week and had the best time boating everyday! Unfortunately, you can’t swim right off the property because it is way too seaweed filled so my kids were a little disappointed in that. Also, we did not realize there was not a washer and dryer. There was a laundromat in town though that we ran to do our laundry. Just two helpful things to know ahead of time. Overall, we had a fabulous vacation and loved the house and location!

Not what we were hoping for.

Nice clean place, but exterior pictures were very deceiving. Thought it was going to much more secluded than it was. Felt as if we had very little privacy (for more than one reason). Communication regarding a situation that unfolded should have been brought to our attention sooner than one day before we got there. We feel as if things should have been handled differently……and still do.

Amazing Cottage + Great Hosts

Cottage was surprisingly spacious. Our 2 little ones like to cover some ground and there was plenty of space for them to do so inside. The view of the lake was great from inside and outside. We got very good use of the kayaks. Molly and Dan were very quick to respond to the handful of questions we had. We felt at home in this cottage and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Highly recommend!!

Clean, bright and comfortable - steps to the lake

Peace, quiet and water is what we were looking for, and found it here. We enjoyed our stay so much we want to come back! The cottage is newly renovated, clean and bright, comfortable beds and furniture, perfect design choices. Even the parking pad was thoughtful and well maintained. The lake is the star, just steps away, my son spent every day paddle boarding and kayaking around the lake. I already miss stepping out with a cup of coffee to watch the sun rise and enjoy the breeze off the water. Our hosts thoughtfully provided everything we could need and were very responsive, We are planning our next trip already!

Everything about the stay was awesome! The home itself was clean and had all the features we wanted. Bedrooms were super clean and AC's worked great, and loved the layout. Would stay again!

Awesome Little Place

Perfect little lakeside place for two of us. The lake is quieter than the larger ones and awesome for paddle boarding. House was well done, clean, and seemingly pretty newly redone. There was zero hassle with check in and check out. Would really recommend this place.

Lovely cottage!

Great cottage on the lake! We were able to take our boat- easy boat ramp not far from cottage and easy to dock right at the cottage. The space was well appointed and comfortable. Thank you for being lovely hosts!

Cute and Cozy Cottage on the Lake

Our family of 4 had a wonderful stay in Honeoye Lake! The cottage was very clean, modern and beautifully decorated. Wifi worked great, kitchen was very well equipped and beds were very comfortable. Kids enjoyed nightly s'mores around the fire pit as well! Owners were very responsive and went out of their way to ensure we had a great stay. I would definitely recommend bringing/renting kayaks or SUP's to explore the lake. For swimming, there is a small beach in Honeoye (Sandy Bottom Park) that is less than a 10 minute drive away, but we decided to drive a little further and explore the nearby town of Canandaigua (approx 30 minutes away) to Deep Run Beach on Canandaigua Lake. For dining, we mostly prepared our meals at the cottage, but there are a couple of nice brew/tap rooms in the Honeoye worth checking out - Birdhouse Brewing Company and Twisted Rail Brewing Company -both offered a great selection of craft brews and delicious food! Overall, our family had a great stay at Honeoye Lake and would definitely recommend staying at this cottage!

Lovely lake house

We loved the easy check in, beautiful decor, stocked kitchen, bass fishing, and more. The view is awesome all times of day. From the music available thru echo, the light dimmer switches, citronella candles & outside lighting, it seems like Molly & Dan thought of everything. So many food options within half an hour drive and closer. We visited Watkins Glen & enjoyed the scenic drive & small towns. If you have a boat, this lake has beautiful clear water & plenty of space for tubing, water skiing & fishing. We definitely recommend staying here.

Wonderful!

Beautifully remodeled, and re-decorated. So clean! Fished right in front of the house. Molly and Dan were great hosts; just a quick text or call away. The fire pit with wood provided ended out very relaxing days.
