There are lots of windows to open and fans throughout the house for late summer hot spells. We DO NOT HAVE A/C. Generally, classic homes in this area don’t have A/C.

A full propane tank is located in the back by the water heater should the fire pit or grill run out.

Linens and pillows are located inside the pullout sofa. Please use the included mattress protector.

Recycling/composting bins are located under the sink and can be emptied into the large blue and green bins outside.

***For stays longer than 30 nights we do require a lease agreement, background check, copy of drivers license, and a one time insurance fee to be paid before your arrival. The one time insurance fee for stays 30-90 nights it will be an additional $750, 30-180 nights would be $1000, 30-270 nights would be $1250, and 270-364 nights would be $1500***

For reservations longer than 30 days, we charge a doubled cleaning fee due to the increased time and effort required for maintaining the property. This additional fee helps ensure the space is thoroughly cleaned after an extended stay.

Pet Policy:
-We ONLY allow up to 2 well behaved and house broken dogs (no puppies)
-No dogs are allowed on the furniture or bedding at any time
-Please pick up after your pet uses the bathroom
-Dogs are not allowed to stay in the home alone unless approved by the host
-A pet fee of $50 per pet will be charged to you after your booking through our guest app
-NO CATS ALLOWED

Quiet Hours are from 9pm to 8am. No more than the authorized # of guests at the house during quiet hours.

No more than 200 pounds on the living room swing. The owner is not liable for guests` use of the swing

No disruptive events or parties. Airbnb guidelines state that if a guest is reported for a disruptive party or violating Airbnb`s party and events policy, they may be subject to suspension or removal from the Airbnb Platform. In addition, the host may also ask that you vacate the property and no refund will be given.

Fee schedule for violating house rules:
-Unauthorized late check-out: $50 immediately, $50 for every 30 minutes after checkout (i.e. +$100 at 30 min after checkout, $150 at an hour after checkout).
-Smoking in the house or in an area where it can drift inside: $250
-Unauthorized Parties or events: $250
-Additional guests beyond what was approved when booking: $35 per guest, per day
-Pet cleaning fee (if pet uses the bathroom in the house, or has excessive shedding, etc.): $100-$300
-Deep clean fee, if required (i.e. vomit, carpet stain, bodily fluids, or excessive trash, etc.): $100-$250
-Broken/damaged items: charged at replacement value

We enjoyed our time there! Is was comfortable, clean and everything worked as it should. We were visiting our son who is a sailor stationed at Navy Base San Diego and his quarters were a 5-6 minutes drive from the house which was perfect.

Our stay was comfortable for our family vacation. The location was great, easy freeway access and close to stores and restaurants. However, the house felt as though it was not cleaned properly. Upon checking in we found food still in the fridge and freezer, the dish towel was dirty, the grill was dirty and not covered, the bathroom drawers had stuff in each drawer. One of the drawers had lotion spilling in it. The shower looks as though it wasn’t wiped down properly, there was shampoo on the floor. Then as we started to use some of the dishes they were dirty and needed to be washed. So we ended up just going to the Walmart and buying paper plates, bowls, and cutlery. In the closet in one bedroom there was stuff still on the shelf. On the first night when we went to get the blankets for the pull out couch they were not folded properly so not sure if they were even clean. The washer and dryer were scheduled to be delivered on day of check in but got canceled and were never brought in. Overall the house was not very clean.
