Blue Heron Getaway. Come enjoy the spring and summer in our great cozy house.

Blue Heron Getaway

Beautiful large house in the middle of the Oregon dunes. Across highway 101 there is fishing, crabbing, dunes, beaches, Umpqua Lighthouse and ATV rentals walking distance from the house. Rivers and lakes abound. Half hour to Coos Bay to the south, half hour to Florence to the north. Lots of covered outdoor space for dining, hanging out, or entertaining. There are some great restaurants and bars walking distance from the house. Our house is next to 101but very quite inside. 30' garage to lock up your toys. Salmon season opens June 22- September. Some the the best fishing on Oregon coast. Tuna and Bottom fishing is great all year and crab is plentiful. We have plenty of games for all ages including Pac-Man so bring the kids too. Plenty of parking in front of the house for cars, trucks, and boats. Look forward to hearing from you for staying or any other questions you have.

The host “Laura” was very welcoming. The house was very comfortable for 5 adults and 4 children. Everyone had their own space lots of room to spread out. We rented ATV’s from Ridin Dirty Rentals the business at the corner and had a blast at the dunes! The kids loved all the video games too!

An expected walkthrough at check in and check out with the manager was asking a bit much. But the property was nice and fun and well taken care of. Although we where expecting four twin w, but discovered when got there that two of them at been converted into a queen bed. A piece of candy was discovered in one of the beds;(. That’s kind of suspicious.

Meeting the parents trip

It was easy communicating with the property manager. She was there when we need her and she would respond swiftly to any of our needs and questions. The property was lovely with lots of rooms. Everyone had a place to sleep which was important. We loved eating outside and the natural light was sooo lovely.Would definitely love to stay at this property again. Thanks for allowing to stay in your lovely home.

Great house. Great location. Was a nice greeting from Laura who let us in and she was able to text in advance when the house was ready. Owner quick response and has a charter boat ask him for a trip. We will book again for next year. Neighbors friendly too

Great house and location

We all loved the house, it was clean and welcoming. The gal who met with us was a total sweetheart, and super helpful. The sunroom, and all the outdoor spaces were the group favorite. We would highly recommend, and if we fish out of Winchester again, we would book again. Thank you so much!!!!!

Entertainment Galore!

We stayed 2 nights, but we definitely would have stayed longer. The house is so big, with plenty of space for everyone to sleep and for visiting with each other. We had a large group, with a wide variety of ages, from almost 3, to 84. We all enjoyed ourselves so much! The kids really enjoyed all the video games and movies. We would love to stay here again.

Blue Huron

Was a great rental property lots of room for adults, kids and grandkids. We all had a great time lots of games for the kids and the covered outdoor areas are great. Grandkids spent a lot of time in the party room as they called it. Definitely will rent again when we go to Winchester Bay.

Will stay again!

Highly recommend. Ample parking space, which was super important when we had many vehicles traveling from different areas, plus a boat/trailer and quads/trailer. Super easy check in and out and she was so very friendly. The house met our needs and we were pleasantly surprised with the “extras.” We will be making this a yearly family trip and will definitely be trying to book this specific place again.

Great place to stay in Winchester, Oregon

The house was a great place to stay in Winchester and had everything that we needed. Beds are comfortable and home is spacious. I will be staying here again in the future.

Best beach house

Place was 100 out of 100 for so many reason. 1. House was spacious plenty of room for our family. We loved the setup so much room throw out the house for everyone to enjoy some space. There was so much thought that went to expanding the house. From the activity room to dinning and grilling areas. I personaly enjoyed the cabin living room. 2. Property Manager was awesome she was respectful, professional and very accommodating.ļ This will definitely be our home to when returning to Winchester Bay. See you next year.
