Mountain Home in Coeur d’ Alene

Enjoy the sounds of nature, views of the mountains, wildlife (eagles, osprey, deer, elk and moose) and the feeling of being in the middle of nowhere but only 3.5 miles from I-90. You will have quick 10 min. drive to everything downtown CDA has to offer from boutiques, restaurants, bars, parks, beaches, museums and the fabulous lakefront. You’ll be spoiled from choices when it comes to fun activities in any direction from this beautiful mountain home.
The space
Upon entry you will be met with bright interior and a cozy atmosphere throughout the well-appointed living area. Relax and make yourself at home by resting on our large sectional , indulging in a favorite movie on the large TV, or enjoying each other’s company on our fully enclosed upper deck. Prepare grand meals and picnic snacks in our updated kitchen equipped with stainless steel appliances, comfortable beds in spacious bedrooms ensure that everyone will receive a wonderful night’s rest from the day’s adventures.

A/C is a split unit and is located on main level.
No dogs are allowed in this home.

This home sits on a side of a mountain so staggered parking is recommended . There is plenty of places to park which will be posted .

The house was beautiful and remote. We loved the screened in porch too. There is a swampy pond on the other side of the firepit which can cause it to be buggy outside. Also, there is a tad bit of road noise. The road is on the other side of the large field. Overall, we loved the privacy and the stay.

What an absolute beautiful place. Everything was perfect! Host was very responsive. Perfect set up, beautiful location. Wished we had planned to stay for more than one night. Definitely will next time!

Peaceful

The host was very kind and reached out to make sure we were able to find the location. Google maps directions were not accurate, but the host’s specific directions on the website were very helpful. The home was so clean, peaceful, welcoming and beautiful. Wish we could have enjoyed it more.

Quiet, Clean, Peaceful

We only spent two nights here and wish we could have stayed a month! The elevated deck allows you to see wildlife in the bottom of the valley and the view are great. We got to see some whitetail and a cow moose. The house is very clean and welcoming, well set up if you plan to cook for yourself. We can’t wait to go back. Just minutes to downtown Coeur D’Alene. Don’t forget to go to Jimmy’s Down The Street, and Izzy’s Comfort Kitchen.

Relaxing, Clean & Refreshing!

We were so impressed with the serenity of the location, even though it was very close to town. We LOVED the local lake, lilypad pond and my favorite was the beautiful covered patio with a fantastic view! It was also all the little things that made it speacial like individual heat settings in each room, cozy fresh blankets tucked in every corner and the essentials you forget to bring in the kitchen and bathroom. The communication was also great with the owner. Definitly recommend!

Great view

We loved every thing about this property! We have put this property on our list to stay at in the future! It was ideal for my wife and I plus my son’s family who took over the bottom floor. Plenty of room and had all of essentials to cook and shower. Very clean and well decorated! The driveway was a little intimidating at first while arriving in the rain but we managed fine. Thank you!

Our Family Really Enjoyed Our Stay!

This was a really nice quiet calm place. We really enjoyed our stay. John was really nice, he even started up the fire for us, even though we did not get to enjoy it because of the rain. Either way we hope to someday be able to stay here again to actually get to enjoy the fireplace, and to take advantage of the grill for a nice BBQ ha. The night still ended awesome also because we had a movie night with the kiddos using the TV in the downstairs family room. We thank you lots for our stay!

TREASURE IN THE TREES!

All we can say is WOW! We could not have picked a better place for our family vacation! The site is tucked away in the quietness at the base of a mountain. The view is stunning! Upon entering the house, we could smell the cleanliness! The place is immaculate! We had a wonderfully relaxing time. We enjoyed the firepit and hikes up the mountain with the grandkids. The hosts are terrific. We will definitely be back! terrific

Amazing!

This was a wonderful place to stay. The home was clean and comfortable. The screened in porch was our favorite place to sit. I cannot fit all of the positive aspects of the property in my review. Seeing deer every day drinking from the pond was a highlight of our trip. We loved the privacy we had with the convenience of going into town if needed. We enjoyed roasting marshmallows by the fire! Our kids loved trying to catch the frogs in the pond. We had an amazing stay and would recommend it to anyone!

This place was an absolute gem! The house was spotless when we arrived and is well stocked with amenities for your stay. Karri was quick to answer any questions we had and made check in super easy with the instructions sent prior to arrival. Place fit 5 adults and 2 kids comfortably. We loved sipping on coffee in the morning on the screened in porch. Provides a beautiful view while enjoying nature’s sounds. At night, we enjoyed cozying up to the campfire. The location can’t be beat! Sits just a little passed the lake and only. 10 minute drive to downtown with also providing easy access to the interstate. You won’t regret staying here!

Fansastic quiet cabin just a few minutes outside of town!

We had a wonderful stay at this rental! Everything was perfectly clean, well stocked and very very comfortable. This is about a 10 minute drive outside of the main CDA downtown area, so it was very quiet and peaceful. In the mornings, we drank coffee on the screened in porch and watched the humminingbirds, momma and baby moose and deer. The kids enjoyed the huge media/hangout room downstairs and we all played games after grilling burgers. There is one bedroom + bathroom upstairs and two bedrooms + bathroom downstairs. The second bedroom downstairs (queen) is accessible only through the other bedroom (bunks), so consider that when making your sleeping arrangements. We would easily stay at this rental property again and all agreed that it was perfect!
