Welcome to Recharge & Reconnect — a cozy 450 sq ft cottage in Vermilion, Ohio, perfectly sized for couples, solo travelers, or a small family looking for a comfortable Lake Erie home base. Main Street Beach in downtown Vermilion is a 5-minute drive, Cedar Point is 30 minutes west, and the Lake Erie island ferries to Put-in-Bay and Kelleys Island are an easy day trip from nearby Sandusky or Port Clinton.

THE COTTAGE
Simple, comfortable, and well-equipped. The bedroom has a queen bed with fresh linens. The living room features a queen-size pull-out sofa bed, sleeping up to 4 total. The full bathroom has a tub/shower combo stocked with towels, plus shampoo, conditioner, and body wash dispensers in the shower.

The kitchen is fully stocked with cookware and utensils for home-cooked meals. A Keurig with K-Cups is provided. The small dining table seats 4. The living room Smart TV has Roku — sign into your own streaming accounts and Roku automatically signs you out at checkout.

PARKING & BOAT STORAGE
The driveway is partially shared with the neighbor and offers 38 feet of usable length from the street — enough to comfortably accommodate a smaller boat trailer. If you're heading out on Lake Erie during your stay, this is a rare and convenient feature for a cottage rental in this area.

THE AREA
Main Street Beach in downtown Vermilion is a 5-minute drive — a free public beach with a kayak and canoe launch, concession stand, and classic Lake Erie views. Nokomis Beach at Minnie Wawa St is under a mile by car for a quieter, more local option. Linwood Park's private sandy beach is also just under a mile away, with day passes available at the gate.

Showse Park — about 1.5 miles away — is a nearly 20-acre lakefront park with walking trails and renowned Lake Erie sunset views. Downtown Vermilion's shops, restaurants, and waterfront are under 2 miles. Paper Moon Winery and Vermilion Valley Vineyards are both a short drive for an easy evening out. Cedar Point is 30 minutes west, and the Lake Erie island ferries from Sandusky or Port Clinton make for a memorable day trip to Put-in-Bay or Kelleys Island.

Great location! Grocery was close by, the town of Vermilion is a jewel! There's so much to do! The neighborhood was quiet and very nice. The kitchen had everything we needed plus! The host provided great communication before during and at the end of our stay! They let us know they were available if we needed anything! I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it for a quiet get away. My friend and I were there 5 days to write and it was perfect! You must enjoy a sunset while there!

Comfortable Bed!

This had one of the most comfortable beds I ever slept on! The hosts left us a little gift for our anniversary. That was so sweet. We appreciated all the extra towels and blankets. The cottage was maybe a little smaller than we expected. Also, there is no public beach access for about a mile. One of the pics on their page made it look like the cottage wasn't too far from the water, but it is all private beaches close to the house. However, the cottage was really close to retail outlets and fast food. Overall, we really appreciated the experience!

The neighborhood our cottage is located in is very close to major highways but on a quiet street. The property is located within walking distance to the lake and only a mile or so from some very nice parks and beaches.

A rare find for boaters and anglers. The driveway offers 38 feet of usable length — enough to fit a smaller boat trailer. Lake Erie fishing access is a short drive away and this kind of parking is hard to find in a cottage rental in the Vermilion area.

Beach, downtown, and Cedar Point all within easy reach. Main Street Beach is 5 minutes by car, downtown Vermilion's shops and waterfront are under 2 miles, and Cedar Point is 30 minutes west — this cottage puts you at the center of everything the Lake Erie coast has to offer.

Right-sized for couples and small groups. At 450 sq ft, this cottage is intentionally cozy — no wasted space, everything you need, nothing you don't. A queen bedroom and a queen pull-out in the living room sleep up to 4 comfortably.

Quiet neighborhood, easy access. You're in a peaceful residential area close to highways, making day trips to Sandusky, Port Clinton, Cleveland, and the Lake Erie islands straightforward from the moment you arrive.
